yes, I'm wondering because it's about thinking about eating and food a lot. Is that the goal? no, but perhaps it's necassary because everything in the modern world is kind of opposite of the raw food health idea. maybe once it's established itself more profoundly and developed some expansion, there will be more ease to it and people wont have to be conserned so much, but it will rather become som

I soaked some chick peas the other day and had them sit outside of the refrigerator for about 2 days. Then I poored of the water and they started sprouting within another day. Is it ok to eat them now? Or do they contain some toxins or so when uncooked? What's with fermentation? Please give me some advice, thanks!

hey annex, yes absolutly- about Graham.. what's wrong with his right hand? and what's with his salivary glands, they seem pretty swollen.. and he's been eating 811 for 30 years.. I don't want to be insulting but I always thought that skin stays a lot more youthful.

hey annex. yeah absolutly. what's wrong with Grahams right hand ?? besides there are some vids in which his salivary glands look really swollen and I don't but it doesn't look like his actually really healthy. and another thing is that considered he is 48 (hope I'm right) ... I'm not intending to be insulting but I just thought apperance stays really quite youthful.

hi, yes hot potato but an important subject too! I agree with what you say, some of the physical occurrances and behaviors may be also due to something other then detox, rather due to a disorder. It seems the term Orthorexia nervosa has not yet been established that well so that there's some fine und more or less undefinable line between: striving for health in a healthy and therefor accap

yes, definitely an issue. also when having considered the costs if or when health gets damaged from cooked and non vegan food. it's not something that joins the people. raw vegan diet becoming popular means health to the rich! that can't be the goal. raw foodists have got to become political about it..

the title is kind of harsh, I know.. I'd like to talk about whether or not you consider a raw vegan diet to be extreme? I take the point of view that it's somehow the opposite extreme to the sad or similar rather harmful diets. Often I find myself in social situation where it becomes rather difficult for me to explain why I go vegan, and not insult the people interested at the same time. beca

andabanana, yes i've been thinking about that also. I guess a proper fast and then a very regular LFRV diet would help. perhaps some kind of medication also to rebuild bacteria and perhaps kill off something bad. but I can't fast because I'm under a healthy weight. that wouldn't be a good idea to be loosing weight, you know. I've orderd myself both books advised by Klien and Graham. And

i have a very bad digestive stystem which is one of the reasons why i search for a healthy lifestyle. i've not been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis but by comparing the symptoms i find it's quite possible. i get heavily bloated when i've eaten a lot of fruit sugar even. i don't eat refined sugar or so.. which used to make me feel worse. but even fruit sugar seems not to be easy. is there a diff

it's possible to adjust the body to a larger meal in the mornings. however a 'heavy' meal at night is not a good idea for your sleep and digestion.

I understand that it's important to eat as many water dense fruit as possible, but I find myself quit frequently in situations in which it becomes quite a challenge to get enough calories by eating lots of untreated fruit. so I'm wondering to what extent it's okay for the body to eat dehydrated fruits like dates and raisens in large amounts? for example is half a kilo of dates a day too much? I d

yes, I guess that might be part of the reason. I do mingle fruit with other foods or eat some afterwards as a desert. and I've also been combining fruit with nuts/seeds. but I've always eaten quit a bit when talking about the amounts. I must find out what other cause their might be though. thanks for your advice!

hello coco, many thanks for your answer. what you advise does seem helpful for my first try! It's stunning to me what quantities you have to eat when you're eating raw! I guess I have to eat a larger amount of nuts and avocadoes. and yes, eating regularly! and concerning the psychological side- i've been to a clinin which helped to some extent. apart from that i do psychotherapie regularly
