I would never use lanolin. The number of chemicals used on sheep are insane. And it's concentrated in the oils in the skin/wool. Never mind the vegetarian impact of it... for health reasons alone do not use it!!

I just brought home the most amazing Jackfruit from Cairns QLD. So many of the seeds are already sprouting! If you live somewhere in Australia you can grow one (I know they even grow in Coff's Harbour) and would like one let me know! Cheers, Sheryl

I totally agree that a pound per day is possible on raw when you first start. Keep in mind it's not all fat. You have retained water and excess waste that's being shed too. You see it all though in how amazing you look and how wonderful you feel.

They have a very distinct semi medicinal taste... soaking tends to leach out most of the flavour. If I soak I blend with the water. They take some getting used to but are yummy once you have a taste for them. I loved them from the start, but use in small amounts. You don't use as much as raisins or other super sweet dried fruit.

For making hot mustard add a little water to the ground mustard then let soak a bit before adding the other ingredients. It really brings out the heat. Raw chocolate is actually not fermented. The good stuff anyhow. You can taste the difference. I was at the place in Indonesia it comes from this year and got to sample unfermented vs fermented. The unfermented had quite a bit (that I associate

Bruce Fife has some amazing books on mature coconuts and health. I saw him speak in Australia last year and the stats he showed were amazing. There were some studies that implicaed coconut in worsening the balances in the blood of HDL and LDL, however it only showed that if you looked at it generally and not what specifically was happening. The stats people use to show that coconut is bad are fla

I highly recommend you read Storm's blog on 12/18/06 It was quite amazing and addressed many things I have been feeling on raw (huge excess energy at times). I've hit times when my energy goes so high I feel nervous and on edge until I recognise it as a good feeling then everything changes. I loved reading that it wasn't just me. Happy reading, Sheryl

You can read more here: The answer is yes... but only if you eat heaps. Most things in very large quantities are not healthy... especially eating too much of any one green again and again.

Totally understand.. I'm trying to get it into a PDF format that works with what we do. We have converted all but one computer in our office to Linux (Ubuntu?) and just love it. I only realized this week it doesn't work on that either. It's hard when so much software is written for Windows only. The ebook is free but still needs to be in something that keeps it as designed. PDF does have ebook

The word of raw is spreading! It's so cool to see people discovering it that had never even thought about something like raw even existing! The excitement when people first try it and see how great it feels. It gives me chills just thinking about it! We don't have a mac version available yet... I am working to make that happen. It does work for anyone on Windows though, and is going to be tran

Funny!! It's said that it's a small hollow mineral, that can pick up toxins and remove them from your body. It's small enough not to grab minerals/vitamins etc, but large enough to grab heavy metals, pesticides etc. I haven't looked into it too closely however do know people having good results with it that swear by it. Cheers, Sheryl

If you are fasting you will go into ketosis.. it's a side effect of burning fat for energy (since you are not eating). Sugar based stores run out quickly.

Water? Really you want the cacao powder, something sweet (dates, agave etc) and liquid (water, juice) to thin it down. Once I made one from half orange juice and half coconut oil blended with enough cacao powder to turn into a smooth sauce. It was this amazing dark chocolate orange sauce. I don't remember needing to add sweetener. Cheers, Sheryl

The white stevia has been processed to remove out the compound that sweetens... you can buy the dried and ground herb though. That's what I've used in the past. I bought a small pack (maybe a cup) for $14 at the market. Cheers, Sheryl

In the raw recipe book Raw Trust by Jeremy Saffron he has recipes for Raw Tofu with soy. Apparently until recently tofu was raw... cooking it is a recent addition to the process. There are other aspects of the process that render it more edible than just the beans. Never tried and and never will... not a big fan of soy or tofu... but others may be interested. I did once own in my pre raw da

Do keep in mind that the book was out of copywrite, the author missing and no laws were broken. They have admitted it was done, apologized and ceased to print the book. Forgive and forget comes to mind.

From talking to mothers and reading lots.... babies that drink breast milk have very little by way of bowel movements. The food is so perfect for them, that there's very little left. Babies on formula however have profuse and stinky BM's. I wonder if it was this comparison that might have led her to think there was a problem in the first place? Daily enemas even in an adult can cause the body

I think a standard nutritionist would parrot too many of the accepted beliefs of our society (ie cook to release nutrients). I have heard them many times! And it's just as easy to refute with science too. Now finding a vegan one, or even a raw one... now that could be helpful for you! Cheers, Sheryl

Hi Raw Blue! It's run on a PC based computer program, and I don't think there's an ebook reader / palm equalivant of it yet. Good idea though!! I love the idea of taking something like this out shopping! How cool would that be. Maybe next time. Cheers, Sheryl

David Wolfe recently said in a talk that people should eat some unsoaked at times. Apparently they contain some amino acids that are changed by soaking into something else. He was recommending to soak most though.

A MAC version is not avaialble at this time. You are free to distrubite in it's current form, but the book in it's entirety is copywrited in its current form and should not be altered. Thank you for your understanding, and I will work in the future at getting a MAC version available. I just want to enjoy the launch right now. Can MAC people please just take a peak at it on someone's PC? Pre
