If I were in your situation, I would see a dentist. There's a cream/paste that they can prescribe to combat cavities.

I've been spending about $70-$80 a week, plus $3.99 a day for a 16Oz carrot, apple, parsley and ginger juice from the local organic juice bar. I've spent more on avocados: $2/each and pine nuts, $15 a bag. I don't buy organic because I can't afford it, so I buy most non-organic with a few exceptions here and there: Berries being one of them.

I have been trying to eat raw food as much as I can for over a month now. I feel great, but am not sure if I'm detoxing. What are the symptoms and signs of detox?

I will see a doctor tomorrow. I read that this is a symptom of tuberculosis which hasn't gone away.

Is this a sign of detox? I have beend diagnosed with having tuberculosis a few years ago, and managed it through medications. Or should this be tuberculosis?

Does anyone know how to prepare Thai red curry? This used to be one of my all-time-favorites.

I tried this today. It was fantastic. It's meant to be over vegetable pasta, but I don't know how to make the vegetable pasta so I threw them on top of my spinach. It tasted good anyway. It's better than alfredo sauce: 2 cups raw macadamia nuts ½ cup raw pine nuts 2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh squeezed 3 cloves garlic 1½ cups water 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, or use 1 t. dri

My all time favorite is Thai red curry with duck. I have given that up for 1 month. I wonder if anyone has the recipe for Thai red curry.

Thanks. I just can't believe this. I bought these at an online raw food supermarket. I am going to discard them.

I have heard that nama shoyu is not raw, and I have it at home. I want to give it away. Is it true? Also are hemp seeds, hemp seed powder, nutritional yeast, soy lecithin, curry powder, cummin considered raw? I am new to raw food and preparing foods for myself too.

Have you tried Proactive? I understand this product is sold in the US and has helped many with acne problems. I don't know where you are, but you might want to look into anti-acne skin products.

I have been diagnosed with an illness similar to bipolar. I take Abilify (15 mg) a day. I've been raw for almost 4 weeks now with some failures due to some cravings for meat. I live with SAD eaters, and it's hard for me to follow the raw diet sometimes. But I am going to stick to my plan, and continue eating raw. In terms of your question, how has eating raw changed my life? Well, my thoughts ar

I am new to this. I bought raw honey from the supermarket since it was in a raw food recipe book. But I haven't used it after visiting this blog because vegans don't have animal products. I use agave nectar instead.

I live in NJ. There used to be an organic restaurant about 20 minutes from where I live called Down to Earth but they closed down months before I started going raw. The other place in Toms River is also closed. I suppose there aren't that many raw people around here. I've tried to see places that serve raw food but there are none, only in NYC. I haven't traveled that far for a raw dish.

My biggest problem is the lack of knowledge of how to do delicious raw foods. I have a recipe book and have tried the smoothies but it turns out that I need to have a dehydrator, food processor and a juicer at least to be able to prepare a decent raw food meal.

Thanks for all of your input. This morning, I am trying raw again. The smoothies I make are delicious. The only thing is the salad. I have gotten another recipe from a raw food recipe book. It's called Raw Foods sold by Pure Food and Wine in New York. Hopefully this one is better than the Thai Green Curry Dressing. Hopefully this is the last time I say Adeus to cooked foods including meat.

I was on a raw food diet for 2 weeks going on the third. What I found difficult was the absence of meat. I am a meat loving person. I was craving for it yesterday and went to a Brazilian barbacue place. Today, I had chicken curry for lunch. I regret for what I've done, and don't want to eat meat anymore. But I find that the raw vegetables I eat aren't tasty. There's something like protein

But I'm on a diet - and I've read that dates are high on glycemic index. It's better to substitute it with agave nectar. Does anyone know how much agave nectar I have to put into the blender for every four cups of water?

I've been on a raw food diet for three days. I am not sure if I'm doing this correctly. I was told that almond milk was good, so I bought three boxes of almond milk at the local supermarket. Now I'm not sure if this is considered OK or raw. It's from Pacific Natural Foods, All Natural Almond Non-Dairy beverage. The ingredients say it contains filtered water, evaporated cane juice, almonds, tr

Hi - I have increased the intake of raw foods in my diet (it's about 50%) and am considering going raw 100%. My thoughts are clearer, I have lots of more energy and am reaping the benefits of what has been described as benefits of raw foodism. I have read wikipedia on the topic of raw foodism, visited this Website and read through the articles but am still unsure how I would treat these foods (
