So let me see if I understand: talking about 'alternative' candidates is 'high vibrational,' but talking about candidates from either of the mainstream parties is 'low vibrational'??? But what about wonderful public servants like Dennis Kucinich (Democrat), Elizabeth Warren (Democrat), and Alan Grayson (Democrat)? And there are a lot more, but I just can't think of all their names right now.

Brome,
We should have a 'like' (or 'love') button on this forum for pictures like yours. Love it.

Hi Brome!
Thank you for the kind words.
Re. your question... it's a little bit similar to the light I see when I quiet my mind and let go of thoughts, but it isn't nearly as wonderful and subtle as the 'Gift Waves' of light that come in meditation. They are hard to duplicate (darn it!) and really iridescent, shimmering and incandescent all at the same time, moving with regular, pulsing, wave

TY, bw! <3
I've been a musician and visual artist for several years, but since 2011 I've really gotten into working on my art as never before-- it's become my passion and I spend several hours a day on it. I am always trying to let the 'Light' shine through it.
Thanks for your kind words-- it's always nice to hear good feedback.
:-)
XOXO

BT, playing 'Nectar'-- unbelievably good music that is transformative as well as highly danceable (in fact I bet you can't NOT move to it). :-)

"After realizing all the people who are severely failing on his diet he has decided to change his stance and says it is okay to eat cooked food now, even animal foods as long as you stay in the 80-10-10 range. Wow, this is some serious change. I can not believe he is trying to market himself to be omnivore friendly now after all these years. He even say

Hi Prana--
I have learned that Doug Graham has now changed his mind and allows cooked food and even some meat A Per of the 80/10/10 diet-- which is a complete turnaround from his very formerly very strict raw vegan stance.
If anyone doesn't believe me, I will gladly provide proof in the form of links to his recent writings on this subject.
He seems to have had some sort of epiphany, and to ha

Hi COCO!
So good to hear from you; miss you on Facebook. And I love those photos of your food cupboard-- fabulous! Sounds like you and the kiddos are doing very well and you're in an ideal place.

Wow! So many wonderful responses! :-)
I made a conscious decision to wait awhile before I checked back to see if anybody had left replies, so this is the first time I've been back to the forum to look. Wonderful!
Well, what can I add? I can't really explain precisely what my menu is comprised of or when I partake, because it's all subtly shifting and changing as I continue to try to figure out

Dear friends,
The secret of succeeding on this path, I am totally convinced, is understanding that it is a journey of SPIRITUAL EVOLUTION. I have made many detours along the way, but I forgive myself, because I have been learning as I go. :-)
I keep returning to the liquidarian path, not as the final goal, but as a step toward my ultimate goal of living entirely on prana. I am not in a hu

Those of you who know me, know that I've had an 'interesting' raw journey-- some 30 years of almost exclusively raw vegan diet, as well as some BIG detours in radically different directions when, for various reasons, it seemed necessary from time to time.
I'm pretty independent in my thinking, so I have always had to find 'my' own weird way of doing things, after doing as much research and self-

What immediately springs to my mind when I think of an fruitarian diet is Rene Beresford and another longtime fruitarian (whose name I can't remember at the moment) who were dedicated fruitarians and both suffered from cancer--- Rene with prostate cancer, and the other guy with some other form of cancer. And when T.C. Fry, another fruitarian, died, he had cancerous lesions in his lungs. (Yes, I k

I've been on Facebook too long-- every time I read something I like on rawfoods.com I want to hit 'like,' and I can't. ;-o
Update: life intervenes, sometimes in the strangest ways, to shape our decisions, even down to how we will eat. Jonathan and I were hit, in a pedestrian crosswalk, by a big tour bus this past Tuesday afternoon. We were incredibly lucky!-- minor injuries and no need to go t

Hi Paul.
Honestly? I just haven't been feelin' it when I've juice fasted lately ('lately' meaning over the past 4-5 years.)
I could feel 'defeated,' but I choose to see it as a need to take a different path.
Onward and upward!

I agree-- not too much water is needed. Also, if you drink less water, you'll experience less hunger. I like to intersperse water fasting with dry fasting, for optimal results.

Just water again today-- no hunger yet. Once I get into the flow with a water fast, it can be a lot easier than making and drinking juice... IF I can get past the first few hours of hunger. I'll know by tonight or tomorrow morning whether I'm 'there' or not yet. :-p

Thanks Kelly-- good advice, although I'm not a newbie, so I probably have different issues. I don't do heavy carbs, ever. I've been doing a mostly raw vegan diet since around 1980; I've done lots of long fasts (40 days on juice, 2 weeks on water, etc.). Main thing is timing; when I want to do a long regimen, I just have to respect my body and wait till the inspiration is strong, and then dive in

Interesting. Thanks.
I don't do well with bananas anyway-- can only add 1 or 2 to a smoothie once in awhile. I much prefer juicier fruits.

So.... I'm back on a juice fast again. Right now I'm working on 18 oz. of celery/apple juice (1 whole bunch of celery + 1 small apple). It's a good wake-up juice, and it's good for the joints.
Hopefully this time I will keep going for awhile.
