If that person were only going to be in that situation for a year, it might be possible to find non-food items to take with them that could last quite awhile. Miracle II makes a laundry ball that can replace laundry detergent. There are soap bars that can be used for the hair, skin, and teeth, and last a long time. Perhaps there will be borax available, and that has numerous uses. violeta

Rudra, I am interested in what you are saying about Dr Jubb and his diet. I have started reading the parts of his and his wife's books that are online. They are very interesting. It sounds as if you have met him in person. Do you live in NYC? How long have you been following his plan? Do you use his cookbook, or do you follow his plan in a simple, plain way? Have you tried any of his

I wonder if all the goitrogenic vegetables that she's eating are causing her to gain weight by messing with her thyroid.

I had a book by Jack Tips that had a lot of interesting stuff about pH in it. One thing that I had never read before is about the swings in pH, which he says hit a high two times a day and a low two times a day. The lowest point is around 4 AM and PM, and I can't remember for sure when it hits it's high, but I'm going to assume that it's at 10AM and PM. It's been quite a while since I read it,

I don't think the urine pH is supposed to go up to 7.6 or 8. Six is more the correct place for the urine; it's supposed to be somewhat acidic. The saliva isn't even supposed to go up to 8, is it? It's been a while since I read about this, but I think 7.4 is where the saliva is supposed to be. The pH of different fluids of the body are supposed to vary; maybe you can find a site that gives the

She has a website called giveittomeraw. I looked around to see if there was anything there about her switching diets, and I didn't see anything. I don't get it.

She has several clips at youtube, and I watched all of them, so I don't know which one she said that in. If you google her name + youtube, you will see the choices. The videos aren't long, and they're all good. She's very inspriring, and beautiful and healthy looking. Violeta

Several days ago I watched a clip on youtube by Tonya Zarasta in which she said that before you start a raw food diet you must be convinced in your mind that it is the right way to get better. So you must read, read, research, and understand what it is all about and why one would chose that way to heal. Until one does that, it's rather difficult to get the body healed. Also, some people may do

I have that problem, too. Some searches that have turned up some interesting information were IC + mycoplasma, virus+fungi+bacteria+ olive leaf, TH1 immunity + TH2 immunity. It seems as though a pathogen enters your body and starts to shut down your TH1 immunity. Then your body can't fight off virii, fungi, and bacterial issues. At the same time, your TH2 immunity revs up, and you start to ov

Olive leaf is good for any bacteria or fungus. You can take it orally to enhance the immune system and make a paste or liquid and apply it directly to the skin. May I ask, have you been eating any wheat products? I always get ringworm when I eat wheat or other gluten grains. violeta
