QuoteRawPracticalist Dick Gregory Defends Absent Fathers - Poorly Tai It seems like he is trying to help black people think stronger not weaker. He is offering words of encouragement to the broken families. He is saying don't focus on the lack. If poverty is the reason for some families to separate (father has to leave to earn money), his words can't change poverty but inspire strengt

In case the article is too long about Native americans and farming, I cut and paste the more important paragraphs, as they relate to Nunativ's notions about the hunter gatherer native americans: It is ironic that Indians are strongly associated with hunting and fishing when, in fact, "nearly half of all the plant foods grown in the world today were first cultivated by the American Ind

QuoteNuNativs Tender greens only occur in WILD nature for a month or 2. You wouldn't be eating them daily, that's a product of farming. Hardly "natural"... You talk about the Native Americans like they were only some meat eating hunters. That's selling them short. Look how the Chocktaw indians ate primarily corn (heirloom non sweet), beans and squash and how farming was impor

Nunativs, I forget to mention Patrick Baboumian. He won the world record in yoke lifting for his size and he's vegan. He felt better after quitting dairy. He's about 5'7" and carried over 1200 pounds. To Raw practicalist, yes, the shaolin diet is bland like that, but not so different from Patrick Baboumian, who combines legumes with grains, like beans and rice for the best amino acid

His brand is definitely more expensive, but he teaches the basic concepts of eating

Interesting find, Raw Practicalist. Now we can see why Doug Graham's followers have the conviction they do. I would like to know who taught Doug this or if it's just part of NH.

I learned Lou Corona's method of making nut/seed yogurt using select probiotics. His videos are on youtube. I like Raw Practicalist's method yet it's using the naturally occuring bacteria, not the select types that one may want to use for various reasons. Yet, if one doesn't have a reason to get select strains, then it's the most wholesome. The traditional German way of making sauerkrau

QuoteNuNativs Pics of your hair? look at Brian Clement's hair, which is wonderful for his age. He said his hair thickness doubled when he starting taking silica in the form of biosil. Just drinking lots of horsetail tea (equisetum arvensae, not the Chinese mu zei horsetail), I felt my fingernails thicker and smoother after a week. There are many forms of silica ranging from raw and extracted

Nunativs' video link does not disprove the sustainability of veganism. Why didn't he show the shaolin martial monks who are vegan and who would put his physique to shame? Why doesn't he show lou corona and just show Doug graham. Why show kulvinskas but not show brian clement who obviously didn't follow kulvinskas. Brian and anji of happy healthy vegan are into tasty vegan food, not in to an

Nunativs, you totally ignored my example of Dr. Ellsworth wareham, the heart surgeon who went vegan and was still working at age 95. nowadays, cats live on synthetic taurine. so vegans might have to take a few supplements, yet some lucky vegans can get all their nutrients from nature, as shown by the examples I gave in a previous post. Look at Max Gerson's daughter Charlotte. She was veget

Panchito As far as blood glucose goes, I think it is good to go higher than normal at least once a day. The reason why is that if there is little dietary sugar, the sugar thermostat rises to compensate. Which means that you actually have higher blood sugar all day long (from muscle) which in turn can cause insulin resistance. People that don't eat sugar from fear of sugar end up with higher bloo

Yes, they did a study on epsom salts and found it present in the blood stream after a while. Perhaps it was done with a full body bath, not just the feet. It is of concern for those too high in certain minerals. 3 tbsp of this hemp protein gives 60% mg, 15g protein, 40%iron, 25% zinc and only 90 calories. it makes me full for a long time when I make a smoothie with it. also it's a g

Nunativs, Let me settle this once and for all. People like Lou corona, brian clement and annette larkins prove that a specialized vegan diet can slow down aging. Annette's husband was not only a meat eater for most of his life but also a butcher. Now look at them...he looks like her father. Her son finally saw the light and jumped on her train. Lou isn't perfect but he is definitely younger

Nunativs: Nunativs, many were cured of fatal diseases going vegan. You can't be so black and white. P.s. nunativs you get a healthy spanking for talking about skunk meat, as if it's a key to health just because it's wild. That man is so poor, he lives on a dirt floor and is illiterate. Maybe being poor and being forced to work and walk and live in nature is the key.

Nunativs, nice stories but what else were they doing? Maybe chewing chaparral powder? Look how the vegan athlete is growing moringa in the desert. Chewing fresh moringa after dates seems reasonable to balance out. Were they eating fresh dates? Fresh dates are astringent and not sticky. Dates are so high in calories, they can't be denied as a food source. You just have to be intelligent when

I have enjoyed reading your fruit posts Panchito. Have you watched this video by Andrew Perlot, when he ate more fruit than his calorie need was and he gained weight? (I know you are not advocating this. You are saying to limit your fruit intake.)

I once visited a date farm and ate a fresh date from the tree before it had dried. It was somewhat juicy and astringent and seemed even medicinal. It felt healthy on the teeth. Dried fruit is a plentiful source of calories but care must be taken with the teeth. Datorade is a compromise because one can benefit from the nutrition and calorie aspect without them sticking to the teeth.
