"Before cleanliness was invented did people die of uncleanliness?" Yes. Those products aren't just based on the "belief" that if we don't use them we will get sick.... people really DO get sick in unsanitary conditions. Dysentary & the plague were results of unclean and unsanitary living conditions. Cholera is spread through dirty water. Tuberculosis & consumptio

Here's something to ponder about the water from mature coconuts - I read somewhere that the real coconut water is removed from mature coconuts and replaced with tap water where they are processed and the hole used to do this is then plugged with wax. I didn't believe it, but since I had one mature coconut at the house, I took a nail and tested each of the 3 spots.... one of them gave way with jus

Or Google "organic seeds" or "heirloom seeds" (without the quote marks) to find companies that specialize in non-Monsanto touched seeds. After that, learn to save your own seeds so that you have your own seed stock. Seeds can be stored in the freezer until the next growing season. ;o)

I have lots of vegan and veggie friends, but I don't know of any that are raw. I am going to a raw potluck tommorrow & one of the ladies is from the town I live in. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we "hit it off" as it would be fabu to have another rawie in the same town.

Ahhh, OK... thanks once again for a well written explanation. One more question.... it would be a totally different animal to eat the flax or hemp seed then, would it not?

Maybe I'm stupid, but I don't see any way to compare anything on fitday.com. I'm not really sure I would be surprised as it wouuld rather be like comparing oranges to, well, oil & sugar. I would not expect oil to have the same nutritional value of oranges since it is a totally different animal. I consume a very moderate amount of oil for the fatty acids - is that misguided? And of course t

My partner experienced a bouut of Bell's Palsy this past fall... it paralyzed half of his face which is not a good thing considering that he is a self-employed artist who depends on his eyes for a living. Stress was the causal factor, but we both had to stop and reaccess our lives/health when this happened. We've been killing ourselves working 12-16 hours a day in our studio for the last 5-6

We eat raw honey, but we're not claiming to be 100% raw or vegan. There are many different opinions on it... mine is that even though not vegan, it's a natural food. You may be interested in doing a search for "manuka honey" and reading about its healing effects.
