My favorites are arame, dulse, kelp and nori. Today I made a nice miso soup using the arame and nori. I use a lot of dulse flakes to season my food. I'm pretty liberal with the powdered kelp, too. Kelp noodles are fantastic!! I've been using them with marinara sauce and pesto sauce. I use the ones from Sea Tangle. What are your favorite sea veggies, and how do you use them?

Cream of tartar is supposed to be the best thing for leg cramps. It's extremely high in potassium. Put a spoonful in some water, and drink it down.

I eat those; they look like small almonds without shells. I'm not sure why yours look like they need to be cracked open.

I use soap berries, and I like them a lot. They do well on typical dirty clothing. Sometimes ground in dirt needs something more. But I do recommend them highly.

There's also another raw film out on DVD called "Supercharge Me: 30 Days Raw." A lady named Jenna spends 30 days raw to fit into a showgirl outfit she wants to wear. She filmed some or all of it at the Optimum Health Institute in Lemon Grove, CA. I was there when she was filming it although I wasn't involved.

I recently started using hemp leaf powder. It doesn't make me high. I'm sure the properties are different in powder form.

Wheatgrass juice grown outdoors can have mold, too. I know from experience. Personally, I would just cut above the mold and rinse the wg before juicing.

The body is meant to flush out toxins, and salt doesn't allow the body to do that as well. I don't think any salt is good for you. Sea vegetables can give food a salty taste, especially dulse.

Yes, it's raw, and I just realized I ate an 8 oz container not a 4 oz container. Yikes! Yummy! It's made out of young coconut, raw cashews, agave, cocoa powder, mint and vanilla bean.

Last night I bought mint fudge swirl ice cream made by Tomberlies. Oh my god, is it delicious!!! I ate the whole 4 oz container in one sitting, soo I don't think I'm going to be buying it very often. It's too easy for me to binge on. However, for those of you who have more self control, I'd highly recommend it!!

I don't think 5 minutes in a hot bath is much of a detox, and I don't think there's any way of knowing if it helped.

Watermelon seeds are high in protein. You can eat them. As for the rind, you can juice it if it's difficult for you to eat.

Hi Prism, Thanks for your reply!! I have a friend whose sciatica is bothering her. How long did it take before you got relief? Also, how long did your mother soak the cucumbers in the ACV? Melanie

I've never used apple cider vinegar much, but lately I'm becoming more excited about it. It seems like it has so many uses. I recently soaked peppermint leaves in a couple tablespoons of ACV for a week. Then I added a cup of water. Now I'm using it as a facial toner. I've been pouring a couple cups of it in my bath water, too. Someone told me you can soak cucumbers in it to make pickles. I'd lik

I haven't personally noticed whiter teeth, but my husband commented today about how white my teeth are, and he doesn't know anything about oil pulling, so I know he wasn't just saying that to please me. A few days ago, someone else commented about my white teeth, too. So maybe it's helping my teeth, and I haven't noticed.

I've been oil pulling for a couple weeks, although I've skipped a few days. The only result I've experienced is that the oil pulls of chunks of mucus from my lungs. That's a good thing. I wish I were experiencing more results though.

I've heard that if you get sick from dark greens it's because there's lots of mucus in your stomach and system in general that needs to be detoxed.

I'm sorry to hear about your medical problem. Perhaps you'd benefit from a very pure and detoxifying diet for awhile - a diet without oils, heavy foods or nuts. Maybe a juice fast would be good for you. Are you drinking plenty of water? Wheatgrass juice is also good for detoxification.

$100 per fruit?!? I would never buy it for that price. I buy it at a large asian supermarket for about $10 a piece! Sorry minou, I don't know any online sources.

I wonder if certain diets were so pure that toothpaste was uneeded. Also, certain stringy vegetebles like celery could serve as dental floss. Or who knows, maybe before toothbrushes and toothpaste, people just had bad teeth. I don't know if things were ever perfect. As for soap, I am a dry skin brusher which helps to clean skin. Tribes could have used natural bristles to clean themselves, too
