2341. Re: Oils
I do not even think that a small amount is healthy. Maybe it helps us prepare and eat other foods. In that sense it is useful, maybe.

Good point Prism. Conventional medicine will not work too in a contaminated environment where the patient is not cooperating. It is the body that does the healing when given the proper tools, cleanse, and rest.

True it sprouts quickly, the problem is that some of the seeds do not sprout, making them difficult to eat raw. It is very hard to take them out of the batch.

The problem with fermented foods is that is not easy to find out if the fermentation was successful or not, if we end up with bad or good bacteria. There is no simple way to check for that besides smelling. If we cannot be sure why not stay away. Some are even suggesting that we should ferment cooked foods a greater source of bacteria.

Great post kwan. I am into liquidarianism and intermittent fasting. High water content food, juices, and 40 hours of dry fast per week. Tonya Zavasta, wrote a great book in quantum eating my only objection to her approach is the choice of the optimal feeding time, she put it at noon. It is more fitting bioligical and socially to have it at night (6-8pm for me)

It does not make it true because it was repeated 100 times. The earth being the center of the universe was repeated at least a million of times in the past. Science uses animals that biological similarities with us to do studies and trials and many drugs, health instruments are based on those studies, to dismiss anything not usable because humans are different is the wrong approach.

It is not a good idea not to clean after juicing and it does not take that long to clean. And you do not want your next juice to be contaminated with the germs in the pulp of the juice who made before. The dried pulp may hurt the functioning of your machine in the long run.

Some people are 100 percent raw so for them it may be an issue. Normally enzymes do not die at 105, it does not matter how long you keep them at that temperature. Food stay in dehydrators for 24 hours or more at that temperature without killing enzymes. As far as cooking rice is concerned there a new variety of rice that require no cooking will be on the market soon.
