I once treated a classically trained Japanese sushi chef. He knew exactly how to cut the fish, what parts to remove to avoid the most parasites and everything related to preparing the safest sushi.
He was heart broken because his wife died of stomach cancer at around age 50 or just under. She ate his food, because she did not cook herself.
Also, I once met a middle aged woman with hair

No, you should not eat ate raw flesh of any kind, whether it is fish, fowl or mammal or any creature. That would also include medium rare or rare, because the center is still raw.
The vegans I have known who have eaten raw eggs as an experiment have gotten sick for weeks. Maybe it doesn't happen every time, but why choose a diet where sometimes you can get violently ill? My friend claimed t

I think if we were all to come together for a raw vegan potluck, we would all get along just fine.
Even though I don't normally use oil on a daily basis, if SueZ made an awesome pesto with her best oils, I would certainly have some. And who could resist that? I think most of us would love SueZ's food. SHe is a foodie, and I bet she makes delicious food. I would definitely eat her food.

Fear at the tap: Uranium contaminates water in the West
FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — In a trailer park tucked among irrigated orchards that help make California's San Joaquin Valley the richest farm region in the world, 16-year-old Giselle Alvarez, one of the few English-speakers in the community of farmworkers, puzzles over the notices posted on front doors: There's a danger in their drinking

I used to weld and have thought that either that or a fungus yeast issue I have had might be the cause of this. I have done many heavy metal cleanses, including bentonite, activated charcoal, niacin and sauna protocol.

Just a thought...sometimes, I heard, that some people can develop an autoimmune reaction against say, for example, mercury. So sometimes heavy metal detoxes can

Someone asked me privately how I make sesame seed yogurt.
It's easy. I use Lou's way.
I sprout the seed first. Then I place it in the vitamix blender with just some water (enough to blend but not too much). Once it is blended, I add a scoop of the probiotic powder and blend again for a few seconds and pour into a mason jar. I put a lid on it loosely, so there is a bit of air, but not big

How Many Poppy Seeds Are Too Many?
Soaking poppy can reduce morphine content of poppy by about half or sometimes more.
Tai:
One time I made a paste with raw poppy seeds (not sprouted and not even soaked or rinsed). I ate 50 g of butter (that is how well I made the paste), based on how much calcium I wanted to consume. There was no warning label to the seeds. Anyway, I felt it was s

What about just adding enzyme powder to the puree? I guess the ferment is supposed to increase certain vitamin values, like K2? It's just a time issue sometimes. YOu have to make the rejuvelac ahead of time. I even have Lou's probiotic sitting

Okay, Sproutarian Man, I will do as you ask. I need to get a big magnifying glass to really show the beautiful kidney shape of the sprout for the camera.
I only sprouted it for a week, because I got busy and forgot about it. I completely agree about sesame sprouts...too long means too bitter.
I also really need to experiment with varying temperatures, because poppy seed is trickier than s

Hi Pacific,
Milk thistle seed helps to repair the liver. You can take an extract, you can buy the whole seed and powder it and eat it or sprout it. I have experience that the whole powdered seed (freshly powdered by myself) helps soothe liver pain in people with liver pathologies.
Pacific, Dr. Schulze's formula is a good detox, but it's limited. (there are many sophisticated liver formula

Normally healthy, the mother of two soon began suffering from burning pain, vision loss, and cloudy thinking and had sores all over her body. I did watch it actually. But I was zeroing in on the comment that Raw Practicalist made.
Doug Graham is not known for using many tools. I recognize the limitations of digestive and systemic enzymes, but I also grasp their value.

The thing about MIke Arnstein is that once he quit the boxes of dates and only ate juicy fruit, his teeth were okay. (it was pigging out on dates for over a year that caused over 20 cavities to form).
I still don't buy into fruit phobia, even after the tooth horror stories. NOt all fruit is the same. Like for example, as I was saying in an earlier post, in cases of kidney yin deficiency ca

I have found faster results with herbal medicine for digestive distress than digestive enzymes. Enzymes need to be taken a certain way or reactions can happen (like swallowing enzyme powder over time caused acid reflux in me, but swallowing capsules did not. stirring digestive enzyme powder directly into food makes the most sense to me, so it's acting on your food rather than your own tissue.)

What if someone had bone cancer. Could they still eat the way this man suggests? No way. HIs method works for some people in some circumstances, but I don't see it as sustainable.
There are actually vegan options to heal the teeth and the bones throughout the body, which can be universal, no matter how sick a person is, even if t

Lou COrona and Brian Clement have slightly different views on digestive enzymes.
Brian Clement says that he doesn't need them anymore to digest his rough food, but he takes them for anti-aging.
Lou's goal always is to make the food as easy to assimilate as possible to spare the body.
If someone cannot afford his stuff, there are really cheap digestive enzymes out there. He is teachin
