Matt Amsden has a great shitake mushroom soup recipe in his book, and it's so simple and wonderful.

hello
I have dabbled in raw for several years and maintained about 75%, while the other 25% was pretty unhealthy behavior. After several attempts, I am in my 7th day of 100% and I'm finding it easy to do. I have asthma that is usually triggered by food allergens or chemicals; I am finding myself wheezing for the past two days constantly. I am curious and wondering if that truly is a detox

For green smoothies, I like dandelion greens with banana and some water - really simple and satisfying. When using kale, I am conservative with the amount of kale I put in because I was overdoing it, and it was not tasty to me.

It really is more that I can't stand the smell of fish and taste of it, and when I read about this, quite simply, it grossed me out and I couldn't stop thinking that I was eating fish, and suddenly, it became unappetizing. Thank you for making me feel noble and lofty, though Not making oneself crazy about such things, is a very good point; I was just confused because I am drawn to buy it, th

What I had read was in Shazzie's journal (www.shazzie.com) - that fish and other sea creatures were accidentally harvested with the seaweed, and became a part of what was turned into sheets.
I had just started making them, and this totally stopped me.
I understand I shouldn't buy toasted nori, but was looking for some sort of certified vegan kind. I do like dulse

67. Nori
hi all,
I would love to get some opinions on nori, as I hear good things about how nourishing it is, yet have read that fish may be accidentally ground up in it. This disturbs me, and when I have tried eating it, all I can taste is a fishiness. I know I will hear 'well, don't eat it if you don't like it', but I think I wouldn't mind it if I knew it really was fish free. I am looking for some

I searched the posts in the past year for this and couldn't find anything. I have dabbled in raw for a year, and just committed to going for it 100%. I have not even lost a full pound in the two weeks I have been raw. While my goal was not weight loss, I really could loose at least 10 lbs, and am totally shocked I have not. I am not rail thin in the first place. I did back off my workouts beca

I thought perhaps this topic should go in "Other Health Related Topics" but because I have a question about the effects of what we eat along our journey, I decided to post here - hope that is appropriate
I have been reading how breast development in women is due to, of course, a variety of hormones. I am curious if one consumed the typical SAD diet, with copious amounts of hormone-
