Hi, Aaron! )
I learned a lot about raw feeding from the website that Dulset listed above, and from a book entitled "Natural Nutrition for Dogs and Cats" by Kymythy R. Schultze. I have been preparing my dog's raw food diet every day now for five months. Hi, Dulset...I really enjoy meeting other JRT lovers. My Jack Russell Terrier eats a raw meat diet, with raw veggies and occaisional fruits. I switched her over after she came to live with me in August of last year. She is so funny...she loves wheatgrass and carrots! ) I make her "cookies" with apples and carrots mixed with uncooked oats and water, and I kind of dry them out in the oven

Hi, Jen...
I would like to add some things about a dog's diet and the importance of finding a holistic veterinarian to care for your little one.
A dog operating on the diet it would choose for itself in the wild is naturally equipped to fight off the diseases and degenerative conditions.
The diet a dog would choose for itself:
1. raw meat (prey)
