first congratulations on your transition! WAY TO GO! nothing wrong with cold turkey, but in others i've read and i've eexpereinced, sometimes detox is SO severe we have to slow it down with a cup of cooked riced or steamed veggies or something of the like... now.. i think it is safe to say that "diahreahh" type stools will go away with time as your body adjusts to the new types of

I have a suggestion that worked for a friend of mine.... She talked to her mom (not at dinner time) and asked if she could please substitute the meat/non vegan main portion of the dinner for any fruit/veggie/raw/or vegan thing that she would prepare and clean up for and after herself... this way she did not have to eat the meat portion. now if the mashed potatoes were not vegan, that was too

i am not usually "INTO" food combining... but i can tell you that i certainly avoid certain combos that give me major pain in the digestive tract... i think that your friend should read some books and do trial and error with food combinations and other "types" of eating... i can't say 100 percent that raw is what everyone can thrive on ( there is always an exception) but

i would think that eating the orange with the peel on would help you get healthy doses of fat from the "oil"... i assume that it's really oil.... i would suspect that for some it could help wiht cravings for unhealthy oils.... i have a gut feeling it would for me....we all know what orange oil does for countertop spills.. wonder if it could detox our insides too! lol
