Date: November 14, 2008 07:41PM Does anyone know of where to find organic produce at bargain prices in austin,tx? Possibly from a backyard grower? I have been raw since july 2002 and am now juicing 56-84 lbs of produce a week. Because of such amounts,I have always bought conventional. Organic at supermarkets is too expensive and CSA boxes seem too small and pricy also. My priorities are any juiceable fruits + avocados, bananas, and dates. For veggies: all greens, cauliflower, carrot, celery, beet. Re: cheap organic produce in austin, tx

Date: November 15, 2008 06:11PM Thanks Jgunn. I had already looked at those websites before. I will be moving to Austin in a couple of months so I will check out the farmers market and co-op then. I will also try to go to some meetups. Re: cheap organic produce in austin, tx

He has an organic market, but I doubt the prices are any different from any of the other markets around town. Although I've never been to Austin, it seems to me there is a pretty health conscious community in that area. I hope you find what you are looking for! Edited 1 time(s).
