“Pure & Natural” family seeking other families, couples & individuals passionate about health, community-building and the environment to collaborate on a natural lifestyle yurt home community project.

Led by Mrs. Karen Segretto, Architectural Designer & Hatha Yoga Instructor, and Mr. Anthony Segretto, natural health enthusiast & Computer I.T. Professional, this community will put a dream lifestyle into action – with your help!

Preliminary plans include:
• Set in a wooded, warm-climate zone (such as South Carolina, Georgia, etc.) for privacy, bountiful beauty of nature & beautiful weather all year long.
• Community Hall: equipped with a commercially-sized kitchen & Dining / Community Gathering Lounge.
• Community Greenhouse: for growing sprouts, greens & wheatgrass.
• Community Vegetable Garden
• Inground Pool & Sauna
• Playground
• Hiking & Biking Trails
• Family Homes: designed by Karen of a large thirty-foot diameter yurt (visit www.yurts.com for more info) to accommodate the common living spaces joined to a sixteen-foot diameter yurt Master Bedroom. (Each home will also have its own kitchen for times when private meals are preferred.)
• Co-Family Children’s Bedroom: Ideally, centered between 2-3 yurt homes (and connected by bridging hallways), the concept of the co-family children’s sleeping quarters is to enhance each child’s family life experience and community experience, as well as unifying the families within the community.
• Community Laundry Rooms / Bath Houses
• Healing Arts Studio / Health Spa: to be open to the public for generating community income, as well as offering holistic health services to all community members. Karen will teach Hatha Yoga, and services such as massages (if we can interest a Massage Therapist in joining the community), Aqua Chi detoxifying foot baths, and more, ideally, will be offered in the spa.

It is our hope and dream to join with like-minded folks as a community for the benefits of:
• Living less expensively
• Sharing in natural lifestyles such as Whole Foods, Veganism, Vegetarianism, & Macrobiotics
• Raising our children with the value of connecting with the people in our lives - in our community
• Cost effectiveness of owning shares in a large plot of land, divided amongst the community people

Note: We are especially interested in individuals with talents and skills that can be used in making the community thrive, such as Teachers, professionals in Chinese / Holistic / Homeopathic / Naturopathic / Ayurvedic healing modalities, someone with financial expertise to serve as a Financial Manager, chefs, people with building expertise to serve as Building Maintenance Persons, Greenhouse Keeper, and anyone who feels that they have the skills and/or the passion & drive to learn for aiding in the thriving of the community.

We are a raw food family with 6 homeschooled children.We recently moved here to Owingsville KY.to start just such a project!!We are building geodesic domes,putting up a greenhouse with year-round pool and growing facilities.We would like to start teaching the raw food lifestyle as soon as we are able.This 160 acre farm is located in the foothills of the appalachian mountains,and is very private,yet only 45 miles from Lexington and a little further from Cincinatti,OH.The land has not been farmed for about 10 yrs,which is excellant for organic growers like us.We try to live a truly "purist"type lifestyle..as close to nature as possible...no toxic building materials,personal care products or anything.We are Believers and know from experience that God is AWSOME and REAL.We are currently praying that Yahweh (God) will provide workers to vollunteer in this important work.Blessings to you all!
