Playdough - safe to use?

I know it says eveywhere that it is non-toxic, but that only make me wonder. I read the ingredients on a website and know that it has colorings and kerosene in it - probably not enough to worry about.

I can make my own of course, the problem is that I keep getting it as gifts - the school gives it to kids. The good thing is that by a week it is gone - dried out and lost.

Anyone have an opinion on this. Thanks

Right. I'm pretty sure they determined that a kid could eat it with no harm. So I'm sure it's no big deal giving it as a gift.
