But where we differ: There is absolutely no doubt that we are trashing the planet. Us, most especially as in USA. What gives US the right to so much fuel and water and so many goods while most of the rest of the world has to eke out with so much less? We were simply born in the right place at the right time. We have no divine right to use up natural resources with impunity. Future generations will think we were really mean, really stupid, really selfish pigs. And they will be 100% correct. Date: June 09, 2008 11:58PM Food prices & gas prices are incredible, amazingly, awe-inspiringly cheap right now.
But oh, I definitely agree that abiotic oil exists (but only the elites know how to make it), that food is easy to grow and that the environment is fine, 25% dieoff of mammels in 30 years, no prob!
