I would hate to see bears treated like that. We all have our path. We can't control other people to take the path we feel is right, especially in issues dealing with morals and ethics. Being an example will make the most changes. Re: Is this cruel?

Date: August 08, 2008 12:29AM i think there`s a time for everyone. not all are ready to face truth at the same time. i think if we expose things in a manner in which the peeps don`t get all defensive and ego kicks in and takes over we have a better chance. i read this book last year called skinny bitch and when i finished i gave it to a friend. it was all she needed to turn her into a vegetarian. she`s not completely vegan but she`s a helluva lot better off than what she was before the book. it was her choice and the ball was in her court without her feeling like she needed to get defensive or like she was looked down upon. we need to reach people and show them the horrors of a predominately carnivorous diet but we need to do it in a manner where they don`t shut down. in my opinion anyway
