Date: August 27, 2008 01:42PM I think it is respectable that the villagers don't blame and kill the animal after an attack on a child. They seem to have worked out a way to live with the komodo dragons peacefully (by setting out food offerings outside the village). This makes sense to me because it leaves the dragons no reason to come into the villages. The environmentalists are arrogant to dismiss their offerings as mere superstition. It is also not right for thm to dictate to the villagers tha they must stop them and incredibly rude to blame the poor young boy for being attacked. It seems that the dragons would not even be in the village if they were permited to continue their offerings outsde it.
