Date: August 30, 2008 02:30PM i have this habit
if i hear a piece of music that resonates with me i will play it over and over and OVER again at first i always think the same thing: i will NEVER get tired of listening to it and on and on it goes one time i listened to this one song for ... ( i'm too afraid to say how many times i listened to it) but at any rate i need some more great music to listen to any recommendations? it just needs to sound outrageously good that's all LOL Re: need some new music recommendations

Date: September 01, 2008 06:15PM And now for something COMPLETELY different:
I was just introduced to this band called Morcheeba. An English techno trip hop band, mostly soft kinda dreamy music. But they've been around for a while, so they've got a variety of stuff. Not my normal taste or genre, but I like what I've heard so far. I hope you do too! [www.youtube.com] check out the songs called: The Sea Enjoy the ride Never an Easy Way Slow Down Rhapsody has a lot of their tracks. This one is a more upbeat instrumental. It's called "Coming Down Gently" [www.rhapsody.com] Re: need some new music recommendations

Date: September 01, 2008 08:12PM oh yeah, i like them too. have they put out anything new? i think i have most of their stuff in my files already. same with sade, it seems like the best artists take these breaks for years on end. at least my favourites seem to. esthero is great but she released one album, took a long break, released another album and now she's vanished again. i've listened to viva la vida like a thousand times already luv the beat the lyrics are haunting in a royal sidewalk manner so the king is sweeping the streets that he used to own, huh? something so humanitarian about that idea i think all kings ought to sweep the streets and stop owning them that is a real king Re: need some new music recommendations

Date: September 07, 2008 08:50AM I got started and I guess I dumped my whole YouTube favorites here, most are in English alot are in languages I don't understand but I listen to anyway.
Westlife (An Irish boy band) - Home [www.youtube.com] - The Rose [www.youtube.com] - My Love [www.youtube.com] - Something Right [www.youtube.com] Loreena McKennitt - Night Ride Across the Caucasus (with footage of the Celts in the Caucasus) [www.youtube.com] Nena (of "99 Luft Baloons" fame) - Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime [www.youtube.com] Diana Haddad from Lebanon - Shater (Shater means "bad boy" in a teasing way) [www.youtube.com] Alizée - annoying French bimbo, nice music - Veni Vidi Vici [www.youtube.com] - Jen ai marre [www.youtube.com] COMEDY VIDEOS Britney Spears Fan (French) - Not a music video, but a goofy french Britney Spears fan [www.youtube.com] William Shatner singing "You Did it Your Way" to George Lucas [www.youtube.com] Arab Skating - Arabs step out of their cars onto a regular freeway in the middle of traffic and "skate" with their sandals on the pavement while holding on to their cars going highway speed (I still don't know how they do this, it must be because they get so little rain that when they do, they can skate on the accumulated oil on the road) [www.youtube.com] Edited 5 time(s).
