Well no, I wouldn't value their knowledge, but in theory you can have a vast amount of knowledge-- of cold, hard facts and of, say, economics or physics-- and not have a drop of compassion. One can even be a genius and be pathologically cruel and uncaring. But anyway... ;-p ... how did I get off on this tangent? Oh yes, I was reading this book about Andrew Harvey's journey in Ladakh and I kind of liked the quote. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
