I have a dream that we will take everything we need and
give everything we have. we'll be both selfish altruists
and generous braggarts, Libertarians socialist and cap-
italist humamitariarns. That"ll be the law in the New
World--different from the old world, where you can
blindly serve your own interest or devote yourself to
the needs of others, but not both.


I have a dream that in the New World, there will
be a new Bill of Rights. The first amendment will be,
"your daily wage is directly tied to how much beauty
and truth and love you provide."


I have a dream that the New World will have rapturists,
and they will vastly outnumber the terrorist. The
rapturist will be performance artist with a conscience
... charismatic improvisers who love to spring fun sur-
prises. They"ll commit unexpected interventions and
unscheduled spectacles that delight hordes of strangers.


I have a dream when anchormen report tragedies
on their nightly shows, they"ll break down and cry and
let their emotions show. No more poker faces.


Im the president now... and so are you. I am the
Surpeme Commander of the United Snakes of the
Blooming HAHA... and so are you. And what we
proclaim is that in the New World, we will love our
neighbors as ourselfs, even if our neighbors are jerks.
We will never divde the world into us against them. We
will search for the divine spark even in the people we
most despise, and we will never dehumanize anyone,
even those who dehumanize us.

So im curious, my fellow creators. Since you and I are
in charge of making a new world--not just breaking the
old world--were do we begin? What stories do we
want at the heart of our experiments? What questions
will be or oracles?

Here's what I say: We will ignore the cult doom
and gloom and embrace the cause of zoom and boom.
We will laugh at the stupidity of evil and hate, and sum-
mon the brilliance to praise and create. No matter how
upside-down it all may temporarily appear, Life is crazy in
love with us- wildly and inocently in love with us. The
universe always gives us exactly what we need, Exactly
when we need it.

Pronoia is our word of power, the spell we cast to
shake ourselfs awake again and again. it's the antidote
for parnoia. It's the brazen perception that all of
creation is conspiring to shower us with blessings.

Pronoia means that even if we cant see and dont
know, primal benefactors are plotting to emancipate
us. The winds and the tides are on our side, forever and
ever, amen. The fire and rain are scheming to steal our
pain. The sun and moon know our real names, and the
animals pray for us while we're dreaming. Do you believe
in guardain angels and divine helpers? Whether you do
or not , they're always wangling to give you the gifts you
dont realize you want. Can you gusse how many
humble humans are busy making things for you to use
and enjoy?

it takes a lot of courage
a lot of questioning
a lot of heart
a dose of humility
perseverance

dreams are not for cowards
and some starry eyed people have EARNED the stars in their eyes

ghandi was starry eyed
and so was martin luther king

starry eyed in love with justice

in their days, the HAD to have stars in their eyes
or something akin to it

because what they were up against was insane

and only people with light in their eyes
can defeat the darkness

i have a dream too
