Date: November 01, 2008 03:23AM Lately I've been on the search for a more peaceful kind of music to add to my life. I was wondering if anyone around here has any good recommendations for what to listen to?
I don't know if I can really reference any music per se, but when I hear it in my head, the words peaceful, serene, tranquil etc. come to mind... The kind of music one can relax and even meditate too. Can't wait to hear some of the suggestions! Thanks everyone Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 11/01/2008 03:24AM by SurfinBird. Re: Peaceful music

(click on 'music' for 7 full-length MP3s) People tell me it helps them relax, do yoga, de-stress or get to sleep. Funny, when I was growing up I would have been amazed if someone had told me "Some day you'll play music that will put people to sleep!" But that's what I do. Now I'm off to get some ZZZZZZZZZZs of my own. Sharrhan: [www.facebook.com] Re: Peaceful music

Date: November 01, 2008 02:49PM There is a music station on my cable TV that I listen to a lot. Its called "Soundscapes" (channel 932) and it plays contemporary new age music that is mostly instrumental. I like having it on as it is very smooth and relaxing. It is very tranquil and at the same time it is interesting and beautiful musically. Re: Peaceful music
