grotesque and almost a lampoon of how materialism has escalated
it would be funny if it weren't a true story

Disgusting. Even worse are how the customers lined up again outside of police tape to wait for the store to be reopened.

The free market isn't to blame...it's our culture's lack of morals. You can be a greedy socialist or a non-greedy capitalist... it's whether you handle your system's freedoms and priveledges (or lack thereof) in a selfish or selfless way that determines your behavior.

I saw on the news that other employees jumped on top of vending machines and counters to avoid being knocked down and run over. Craziness!

Wow.

I think there needs to be a new word because 'selfishness' is far too light to describe this.

How about greed-infested, debased, and deranged with no respect for human life?

musicbebe

the link u provided above

the irony of the building's script above

in big bold letters

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED

with people waiting in line behind the police yellow tapes
waiting for the store to be re opened after someone died

instead of having a day ( or more)

of silence to respect the life of a man who sacrificed his very being

so that they could get a discount on their plasma TV's

i don't recall a more senseless way to die

i wonder what ann raynd would say about this
