It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so! ~Mark Twain

Happy spring to all rhb

Happy Spring!!

I love that Mark Twain quote. That is how I feel in the fall though.

I know exactly what I want in the spring.... fresh air, sunshine, fruit...to be outside!!!

Yes, I agree. It's a wonderful time of the
year here in central Florida. The weather is getting warm,
the birds are chirping, and will soon be nesting, my Fruit
Trees are beginning to flower for the next crop, my Roses
will soon be in full bloom. Life is Good. I don't understand
how anyone can complain about anything....WY

Oh...I have a beautiful rose. It is huge, at least 6" in diameter.

It is so warm. I got a slip and slide for $5 at the salvation army and the kids LOVE it.

Nice nice nice everyone winking smiley
I just participated in a walk for values here in Auckland N.Z where it is now heading toward winter. Everyone was walking for peace and love etc, and after a day full of that kind of thing it is inspiring to be reading more of it here. I think we are entering a new chapter of human expression Horaah !

Lightform,

How remiss of me to not wish my Southern Hemisphere compadres a happy winter! : )

Curious to know more about the "walk for values"; is it a government-sponsored thing, or community association thing? It sounds like we here in downtrodden Detroit could learn a lesson from Auckland.

Good morning good morning...
or at least it is for me right now. Thanks Tamukha, its nice to feel like part of the family smiling smiley. This walk for values was organised by the Sathya Sai Organisation who are basically a collective of people who practice the teachings of Sai Baba on the principles of spiritual living such as love, right conduct and non violence etc.

I don't believe in the value of any form of religious structures myself, but I do feel that where ever these kinds of values are premoted and expressed, that it doesn't matter what context they are bundled in. In my heart I believe that anyone who supports these things is on the right path no matter what walk of life they come from.

There was over 500 people on this walk, and we walked up the middle of one of the main roads in the city, with all the traffic blocked off by the police. There was signing from some groups, and a little cheerleader style chanting of peace and love, with everyone holding signs and wearing Tshirts with face painting and baloons etc. The end of the walk culminated at a park where there was some musical performances and speeches... all very cool grinning smiley

Yeah its autumn here, I was just speaking with a man who was saying how he loved this time of year the best, and appeciated all the colours that come out at this time. I realy like the contrast in seasons because it give the years so much cultural flavour as everyone makes the appropriate lifestyle adaptions.
