i thought this was really neat  like OMG how creative can you get cutting wood ! .. im not a big advocate of cutting trees but this is neat

Date: April 14, 2009 03:45AM Way back in the day, when I was having a house built, we lived in a travel trailer and had a TV set up outside with lawn chairs and we would sit out there and watch it, but my boys loved this (they were 6 and 9 at the time): we would watch the praying mantises eat the grasshoppers that landed on the TV, which backlit them kind of eerily. Kind of gross, but interesting if you are a boy that age. (Hope this didn't offend.) Re: Cool Pictures !

Date: April 20, 2009 12:51AM Hi Jgunn, Sorry to take so long getting back to you re: mantis's/mantids, I'm away a lot. I don't know of a color difference between the sexes but it's been my understanding that females have the more rounded abdomen. Of course I'm no entomologist.(insect specialist)
