speaking of heart attacks, they found him dead on his boat yesterday

im just sick to my stomach and havent stopped crying since last night my head is hurting my heart is hurting

i knew he was in some trouble with the tax man, and he had other stresses in his family and work life ,

keeping up with the jones's and smiths' , the 2 car , big house, white picket fence all the toys bigger and badder than last years bigger and badder toys

he led a double life where everything was perfecto on the surface while a shitstorm was raining down behind everyones back on his head

i will miss you so much jamie we were so close

the only thing that makes me feel good at the moment is knowing that i sent you a message last week telling you i love you and im here for you if you want to talk

god bless your soul i'll see you up there someday

Wishing you good happy fuzzy vibes Jodi. I don't know if you've seen the movie Grand Theft Parsons. But if you haven't, I recommend it for its down to earth humor value. It is about a friend loosing a friend and honouring the friends last wishes, and its got real natural humour all through it.

Oh sweetie, I am so sorry you are going through that. I bet your brother would hate that you are feeling that way because of him.

You are a bright light and I know you must have been that for him as well. I am sure you touched him more than you know.

Years ago, I was very involved in the anti-bullying group at school, and I attended a workshop which included a presentation by a man whose son, a high school kid, had been murdered. The man was just devastated by the loss, but he had something to say that I really took to heart.

On the last day of his son's life, they had gotten up early, before school, and he had taken his son out for a driving lesson. They had a very pleasant father/son time of it, and when the son waved goodbye to go to school that day, the dad had no idea that it would be the last time he would ever see him alive. The point the father made at the lecture, was that even though the loss of his son was the most devastating thing he had ever experienced, he had to be grateful the their last time together was a good time. Many times in life, we argue and walk away from each other with bad feelings, and it would have been so much worse to lose his son after some stupid arguement, knowing that the last contact was something bad. I really took that to heart, and I hate it so much when my family argues about anything.

But you did something wonderful, and you must not forget it. The last contact you made with your brother was to reach out with love and let him know that you were there if he needed you. Whatever his last thoughts were, I am sure he must have realized that you loved him very much. I totally agree with pakd, I bet your brother would never in a million years wanted you to feel bad, that you had failed in any way, because I am sure you haven't.

Nothing in the world is going to make the pain of your loss any easier, but please don't add to it with guilt over something you aren't guilty of. You clearly loved your brother very much. I have no doubt he knew that. I hope that you will be able to find a loving role in the lives of his beautiful children as your legacy to him.

Again, I am so sorry for the pain you are going through right now.

Memories keep those we love close to us forever.

i was really having a bad night yesterday , i was gathering up some paperwork that he was having me do and just seeing his name over and over was like poking myself in the eye with a sharp stick

If this helps you I believe that all of us have a time in this Earth,and however we are does not make difference.We could be in the best shape,best diet,lifestyle,everything but if it's our time we will go. I believe that he had his time and his duties here and it was his time to go to a better place,a higher and more civilized,spiritualized place. Think on him with happy thoughts and ask him to send messages to you through your dreams. You'll see that he is in a higher and spiritual place. He is missing you,his family,but now he can help you and himself better. That is my believe. I hope you are ok.I'm sending you all my love and prayer,for you and your family.

thanks everyone , the service was yesterday and it was sad and happy all in one. the power went out in the church when the priest stepped up to the microphone so he just kinda projected his voice and carried on. when my oldest brother stepped up to the mic , he said , ok well i was hoping the lights would come back so i wouldnt have to resort to using my glasses but here we go ..all of a sudden CLICK the lights came back on, he gave a double thumbs up to my lost brother Jamie , it was a funny moment hehe

I'm sorry Jodi for your loss. It's so very difficult to lose people we love.
Always that spot in our hearts for them, but over time that spot is filled with our memories of them..and not so empty anymore.

I loved the poems everyone. I love to listen to Josh Groban sing because it just takes me to that universal plain of existance where my spirit seems to want to fly free itself as my loved ones that have passed on do.
