I am up really late right now because I got all caught up in trying to make a wikihow for the first time. It was Totally Fun! I have never drawn anything with a computer program before so I'm stoked it actually turned out. I know it looks like a simple drawing but it took some figuring out on my part computer-clueless part.

Want to see what I wrote?
Here you go...

Make one of your own! Go on, I challenge you to do it. Bet there is something that you know how to make or do that needs sharing.

Very nice idea....but will it work? I'm not convinced
the mouse will travel in the tube, unless you use some very
strong-smelling Cheese as bait. Then the bucket may not hold
the mouse without it escaping. You could always test the rig
at a local Pet Store.....WY

Jodi, was it you who suggested this trap in another thread? the one about sticky traps being used in a pet store... Someone here did, I was inspired.

coco,

It was me! I got the instructions off of Shazzie's old blog, which is now defunct. Great wikihow entry--now people don't have a reason to treat the poor little things cruelly(like PetSmart). It's going to be a cold, cold winter, according to the Farmers Almanac, so your wikihow comes just in time. Good on ya!

Thanks! Glad you mentioned it, it obviously stuck in my mind.
Wonder what to do with the little things when it's freezing outside like that. Hate to say it but dropping them off near a barn might be kind. Not to the farmer though sad smiley

Guess we could keep them in the pail and feed them until a milder day right. The kids would want to keep them forever though, ha ha!

My Aunt Betty tried it and it worked! She said the little mouse had climbed out onto the edge of the garbage can though, when she came into the kitchen she startled him and he fell back in but the little escape artist nearly got free! Gotta use a really tall can I guess...
