Date: August 01, 2013 08:51PM I just finished Paul Theroux's "The Last Train to Zona Verde." It's a well-done document of his recent travels through S. Africa, Namibia, and Angola. I learned a lot, especially about Angola and the growing Chinese presence there. Had no idea that the Portuguese and more recently the Chinese have used Angola as a penal colony. The steep divide between the rich and the poor in Angola tempts to be frighteningly reflective and prophetic. Re: Fav books, booklist

George F Gilder (Author), Bruce K. Chapman (Author) This book by Gilder and Chapman will show you why republicans have no head. Both of the Authors are Harvard grads and republicans to the core. They detail in the book the Pol Poc type of political ideals the party endorsed. A must read to see Who and What that has infiltrated the republican party. FROM THE HORSES MOUTH GILDER AND CHAPMAN Re: Fav books, booklist

Date: August 13, 2013 02:43AM Sounds interesting but it was published in 1966. Not saying it can't be relevant, but I am getting yuks at how everything always goes back to the 1960s with you people. Imagine yourself back in the 60s again and how much you paid attention to people who were stuck in the 1910s. Not at all, right?
