the omnipresence the omni-emptiness it can be embodied at will once one "gets it"... must it be continually experienced? i suppose there may be potential for things to be forgotten practice makes purring kitty cats (no meaning meant) Re: How to change a habit

That entry was just what I need to read at this time--serendipity! I have been fretting about mostly little habits for a while now. I have bookmarked the link and intend to return to it routinely in coming months. Thanks ever so much for posting it! Re: How to change a habit

I like what Byron Katie has to say about changing patterns, that it is only a thought away. You decide to change how you think about something and it's done! No working on it for years, no suffering and striving to make it happen, just change your mind. Just like that. I've done it before, highly effective. Love that woman. So my yoga program arrives in a couple of days, still looking for a work out program that I can do at home but I'm going out to get a chin up bar now so I'll be adding a great habit to my life this and next week. I'm excited. Re: How to change a habit

Date: January 05, 2011 09:39PM well Coco, as far as working with free weights goes, generally speaking, I try to work with just enough weight to where I can do no more than 12 reps if I push myself, and then I wait 10 minutes and do another 12, rinse and repeat 8 times, and I do that on monday, wednesday, and friday, then get extra rest over the weekend and start again on monday...( I do this with both legs and arms) women are so different though, and I have no experience with female bodybuilders and their regimen, that im not sure how helpful I can be, or what specific exorcises would be best for you... ive still not been able to find the link I thought I had to some info for women wanting to increase muscle mass... testosterone shots would help, but I dont think that would be a good idea,LOL... I also do cardio in between my normal workouts btw, jumping rope is really really good, as is bike riding and running... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oh, mirror in the sky What is love? Date: January 05, 2011 11:56PM got get rid of those demons somehow one of my most commonly misspelled words, as I constantly mix up exercise and exorcise... in fact, I mix it up more often than I do Your and You're! lol...
Edit: Almost forgot to mention, I have been told that Kegal Exercises will help with your jumping rope problem, amongst the other reported benefits. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oh, mirror in the sky What is love? Date: January 06, 2011 02:34AM Misconception. Kegels are useless without a resistance device. I have done literally hundreds of thousands in the past dozen or so years. It's like lifting a dumbell but without the dumbell! Very ineffective. But I'm working on something and I'll bet you it'll be safe to sneeze and laugh and jump on trampolines in no time...
