Date: February 07, 2011 04:56AM To live a good life that we are happy to have had at the end of our days, whatever that may mean to each of us individually. To not be mired in rules and philosophy, to love the moments as they come, to trust that the universe is unfolding as it should. To just be. Re: why are we here...?

i just quirk here i get payed in mangoes and orange juice imagine if i'd written orangutan juice, that would have been weird butt 2 b somewhat semi-serious hmmm can i do it ok i'll try ... we are here to: live learn and love shine as the stars above because eternal justice just is and there's just us so just give to the center which is everywhere be aware that a key to lucidity is to feel free to mind your mind without time so you won't feel left behind when this spinning sphere shifts gear have know fear as there is only ever a constantly changing rearranging evolving self solving expanding and compacting origin re-acting experience of the variance of every streaming instance of here -------- also we are here to protect the future of nature we are nature my computer is nature everything is nature, even concepts and numbers and metaphysical bits are nature eventually we will learn to traverse and create new universes and we'll seed them with the makings of intelligent life we will visit earth-like planets and guide human-like beings to become more evolved and self-sufficient and morally rich we are here to guide and coach and mentor eachother we are all both student and teacher to eachother live learn and love shine as the stars above we are eternal stardust gliding along the framework of a grand spiritual machine infinity is perfection actualized and every moment is a gift but what of pain and suffering, how are those moments gifts tis the blessing in disguise karmic course corrections there exist horrible forms of torture imaginable in the universe, more horrible than even that yet conceived of by man. these forms of torture make water-boarding look like a vacation cruise to the tropics. we can only hope and have faith that the spiritual machine that is all that is has an invisible hand and distributes justice in due fashion, and protects all from experiencing the depths of the horrors that may be imagined. did i say live learn and love oh yah uh live learn and love s h i n e * Re: why are we here...?

Date: February 07, 2011 09:43AM I could go on forever on this subject, but for me personally, its best summed up by this quote.
"It's not enough to have lived. We should be determined to live for something. May I suggest that it be creating joy for others, sharing what we have for the betterment of personkind, bringing hope to the lost and love to the lonely." -Leo Buscaglia I am to tired to go anymore in depth with such a complex question. Interesting thread. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oh, mirror in the sky What is love? Some days I have no clue. Its all pointless. Other days when I am deep into a hobby, the smallest detail of a project takes on great meaning. Vinny Re: why are we here...?

Date: February 07, 2011 09:26PM I have always made that the #1 concern of my life--the purpose for it all. After much reading and using intuition, I believe that there are myriad reasons. Actually, I think the Material World is a matrix of sorts where most people get trapped and think it's the place to be. The Buddhists and Jains (and Hindus, I am sure) talk about the Wheel of Birth and Death. It's not a matter of hating this place but of understanding its temporary nature and not getting caught up in that illusion (thinking it's more solid and eternal). But I also believe that some souls choose to come here to help humanity. So I don't think it's cut-and-dried but I think even asking the question is a major sign of evolution! Even some of the most intelligent people seem to scoff at anything hinting at philosophy. Re: why are we here...?

This one will puzzle me for days. Did not like "Avatar" the plot because it didn't have a single original idea. Liked "Avatar" the film because it was visually and aurally spectacular. The first sequel's due some time in 2014. Re: why are we here...?

Date: February 08, 2011 08:49PM Lots of people watch lots of movies over and over again. Godfather. Rambo. Disney. I don't much care for any of those either. Avatar had interesting special effects but I could live without any special effects, really. I've seen enough cartoons to last me a lifetime, I would rather an incredibly well developed story for a change. Re: why are we here...?

Date: February 09, 2011 06:57AM It could be that our matrix exists within a dorm room computer in another virtual world, and our God is some college kid with the same wonders and ponderings as we are sharing here.
Fractal virtual worlds. They say as above, so below. But, what is above the above, and what is below the below. Fractal virtual worlds. Infinite. Worlds within worlds within worlds within worlds. Above the above the above the above. Below the below the below the below. Be low. Be love. Be humble love. We are such ants and giants at that. I once came close to finding the off switch in my mind. It felt like I was approaching an off switch anyway. It was like the eye of the storm, it was the center of the whirl pool, the void of the vortex. It felt like if I went down into the void I might disappear entirely. I was a ship and I was being pulled into the black hole at the center of the spiral. I was fighting to stay afloat because I'm not ready yet to pop out of existence forever. Since then, I've visualized that the vortex, if I fell through the center, it might lead me to an inverted vortex on the other side that is spinning outwards and I might wash up on some island paradise who knows. One gotsta be somewhat fearless in untrodden waters. Does fear ever hold benefit? If a bear is charging me, might it be good to feel a bit of fear? How much fear? What is fear anyway? Fear often seems to relate to urgency. An urgent need or desire that involves uncertainty as to how proceeding will occur. Re: why are we here...?

Date: February 09, 2011 10:09PM Infinite fractal worlds within worlds within worlds.
There must be an infinite invisible hand. The hand of God. The invisible hand protects and saves and serves. The karmic hand. Do unto others as you wish done unto you. What comes around goes around. You reap what you sew. You get what you give. Ask and ye shall receive. Everything comes back around, with a twist. Like the mobius strip. An infinite loop with a twist. No side, one side, all sides, inside and outside. With infinite fractal worlds, only some of the parent worlds need to be programmed explicitly to have healing and grace for all, and then all child worlds are imbued with those virtues. It's easy to have faith in this because I myself would want to have a world programmed with healing and grace for all. I am of the programmable substrate of this matrix, thus this matrix has imparted to me desire and will for healing and grace for all, and this healing and grace for all are woven into this matrix, and therefore woven into any child matrices. As above, so below, so parent matrices of this matrix too have desire and will for healing and grace for all infused into the programmable substrate of existence. There is a god, and god is all of us together weaving the invisible hand that protects and saves and serves and enacts healing and grace for all. Infinite programmable substrate woven through a tethered fractal infinity of worlds within worlds within worlds, and grace is found within all worlds. Grace is grace. There are no degrees of grace. There is not more grace and less grace. There is only grace. Grace is grace. Grace is healing and love and perfection of beauty in the seemings of imperfection that are perfectly imperfected to perfection. Re: why are we here...?

Date: April 11, 2011 06:39AM i'm here to let you know why i'm here
and the reason i'm here is to let you know why i'm here it loops around why ask why who what where when why how huh? i'm here to lead a brigade against tyranny to tyrannize the tyrants nahhh, i'm just here to learn and grow and live and play or maybe i'm here to infect the world with my essence and leave my mark nah... marks fade i'm here to cheer for the folk who are actually here to do something cuz i just might be here to do nothing absolutely nothing how can nothing be done? simple there's nothing to it all you have to do is hover atop the rippling air of the now and embody the nothing and be filled with everything and wonder and wander and wander in the wondering wander and ricochet like a golf ball between a narrow lane and know that God is the golfer and believe that God hit you just right and that you are headed toward a hole in one and maybe, if you really feel compelled to you could give God some assistance and gently curve the ball that you are toward the hole especially in the final moments when that hole is getting closer and closer and the hole is your home it's time to go home to the hole hold on for the ride gently curve yourself, in an intuitive manner, like it's nothing nuh thing and be the hole and be Whole with the hole it's nice and comfortable in the hole it's a good hole it's a loving hole the hole is the hole the hole is holy tis a holy hole be holy in a nothing to it kinda way and then fly from the hole into God's hands and get ready for the next round or let God bend down and pick you up cuz God will come pick you up if you wait long enough God's got lots of golfing to do so smile and let those cute little golf ball dimples smoothen your trajectory follow your bliss are we here to be a bunch of bliss-drunk monkeys munching on figs and mangoes? or to evolve into transhumans and help propel the path of evolution i think i'm here to think and i think that i think too much so maybe it's time to stop being here maybe i'll go be over there and stop thinking and start drinking in the golden rays of my days and be the lead in all the plays cuz it's only me here i don't even know if any of you exist but some of you seem to exist and i'm glad for that i'm here to exist along with you but sometimes i feel non existent a push pull ping pong party left right left right center middle a trailing and spiralizing omni-directional hyper-dimensional photon instantaneously threading through itself and weaving the majesty of the ever-flowing infinite Moment Edited 1 time(s).
