Girl with autism wanders off, which happens often, she is later found, perfectly fine, awhile later, government officials take her and end up drugging her up... warning, this article will probably really upset you, it made me cry, something very similar happened to my friends little sister up in canada when we where younger too, it was pretty traumatic for her and the family, and she wasnt even autistic... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oh, mirror in the sky What is love? Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changing ocean tides? Can I handle the seasons of my life? Re: Autistic girl stolen from father by Government.

[www.bclocalnews.com] I don't like what is suggested by the blogs and such, that she was "stolen" and is hopped up on anti-psychotics, because, if true, that's terrible. However, it appears BC SS were following whatever their guidelines are--the man is a single father of two other tweenish kids, one of whom is also autistic. We don't know the home circumstances or how he's dealing with this situation(the ex-wife relinquished custody of all three kids to him voluntarily, btw). It is possible this is less totalitarian than it seems, Curator. Just sayin'. Re: Autistic girl stolen from father by Government.
