I have asked numerous times for my fella to just please if he REALLY has to buy me foiliage .. buy me a potted plant .. preferably something that can live out doors .. i would much prefer he save up his sheckles from 3 or 4 bunches of flowers and just buy me a fruit tree sapling or an evergreen or even a bulbing plant that will give me YEARS of enjoyment instead of something that just dies ina few days.
most of the time he is good ... but he still does it occaisionally and i smile and sigh and thank you but .. inside im grrrr lol  ...Jodi, the banana eating buddhist  Re: I am SO upset :'(

Well, at least feel somewhat obliged. I suppose you can just ignore it, but then a guilty feeling creeps in. Date: January 16, 2012 01:46AM Jo, I wouldn't mind taking care of plants like those and to be honest I do enjoy my 2 house plants as well even though they just sit there. Well, the aloe is useful on occasion. I just forget about them most of the time so only the ones that like to get dry and don't require very much attention at all survive in my home. I welcome cactus and philodendron with open arms but african violets need not apply! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
