Anyway, today on Twitter, the bigger story is how she believed she got lung cancer from the 911 dust. Date: May 18, 2012 10:44PM Yes, I heard on the radio she believed the asbestos or whatever it was caused the cancer. There have been others who have fallen ill, as well (like first responders) and gotten the shaft from those promising to help them with medical costs or whatever they needed.
I listened to "On the Radio" and "Bad Girls" today because it reminded me of the past. Re: RIP Donna Summer

Date: May 19, 2012 04:38PM I forgot about "Heaven Knows" and "I Feel Love." She was the queen of disco! I don't listen to music much anymore but when I feel like it, I have gone on Youtube and looked up one of her songs.
I was just thinking about how Davy Jones represented the '60s, Levon Helm (with The Band) late '60s-early '70s, Donna the late '70s, and Whitney the '80s! And all gone within a matter of months! Poof! Re: RIP Donna Summer

Date: May 24, 2012 10:03PM Gonna see if they still have "Thank God It's Friday" on Netflix. Donna starred in that film along with Lionnel Richie and the Commodores. The film itself is camp and probably wouldn't be made today. But for me it's packed with good memories.
