They're dropping like flies --

They all lost the 'fight' against cancer. I love the way they use that word 'fight' in conjunction with treating cancer.

"you can win the fight against cancer."

"you hope your doctor is a fighter"

"Supporting the Fight Against Cancer"

"article will provide you with the information you need to create your fight with cancer"

"for them to know that you are willing to fight the cancer"

Yeah, but meanwhile Keith Richards is still alive! LOL!

Kid, I hate that one, too. It's totally ignorant of their actually being a CAUSE for the dis-ease and that the "cure" might be most of the problem!

Yes, Dear Robin rest in peace. His voice was a gift from God. A living masterpiece. His voice, his singing, could literally bring me to feel the music, the emotions, the words. A true artist.
I love all of the Bee Gee brothers, and of course baby bro Andy, they will forever be apart of the fabric of my earthly life. But, Robins voice was special and spectacular. I have watched him sing and literally be awestruck by what beautiful sound was coming out of this humans mouth. OMG.
IMHO of course.

I will always love you Robin

funny, Barry Gibb is the oldest BG and outlived all of his brothers. I think Andy Gibb, the youngest (and never part of the BGs ) died first. Irony?

I miss Donna Summer. She didn't have Whitney's voice. But she could hold her own.

The Bee Gees sound was definately a part of my childhood.
I remember in 5th grade(1975 for me) we would be allowed to play 45's at recess on rainy days, and I remember us playing Jive Talking over and over.
Then two yrs later Sat Nite Fever came and the rest is history.
Some of you thinking "what is a 45???"
hahahah

Vinny,

Well, we were allowed to play LPs on the hi-fi record player in my 4th grade classroom in 1980, nya-nya!

Someone brought in their older brother's copy of Queen's The Game and we had to listen to "Another One Bites The Dust" over and over and over. But not as often as The Rascal's "It's A Beautiful Morning," which was our teacher's favorite song because it got him through 'Nam. And this was a Missouri Synod Lutheran school!
