in between worlds

how do u know which world you are in
some people say ghosts get "lost"
what if they are not lost
what if everyone else is in a world they believe to be "the" world
but they are in an in between world
or maybe
just i am
i don't know
anymore

realms of this and that
what makes them separate
since its all energy
and vibration

sometimes they become distorted
or maybe they just merge

or maybe ...

who knows
there seems to be an unreality to reality
wonder if other worlds seem more real

whatevs

just feeling
obviously not thinking much

i'm not even sure what i just said
or why

except that
i just had to get it out

can't say i feel much "better"
but maybe i'm glad that i just wrote this piece of weirdness

because at least i know i'm alive
when i see something on this screen here

if it can even be called a screen
and letters
symbols across a blank screen

maybe that is an indication i am in "the" world

ha ha

strange indication

are you people all REAL?

and how do you know that you are?

i thought i knew such simple things
but now i am not so sure anymore

there is so much more than meets the eye

than meets the five senses

sometimes i wish that it was just the five senses

all "normal"

all hunky dory

all spiffy diffy

all 3-D

all here is a tree
and this is a building
and we are simply here to be born and have some experiences then "die"

and that is that

and don't question it
and nothing else exists

seems somehow easier that way

less meaningful
but far less burdensome on the mind and spirit

like... we are just plopped here on earth
and then we just do our thing
eat sleep and whatever else humans seem to do in between those times
then do it til they die

what could be more simpler
then they "go"
like in
dead
gone

zilch
nada

so easy
so simple

like kindergarten
easy peesy

i like that world better
more simple

this world is confusing

i don't know
okay

that's it
i got the winning ticket
and that is

i
don't
know

that explains everything
feels like freedom

I often have these kinds of thoughts.
I believe whatever realm we are in,or arent in,its all ok.
We are taken care of by a higher power.
We came from dust and will return, and each and everything in between is exactly the way its supposed to be.
Star dust is content.

thoughts are the experience of thoughts. What you experience is only a thought, nothing else.

<<thoughts are the experience of thoughts. What you experience is only a thought, nothing else>>

which means that that thought is also an experience in and of itself

what is a thought, even?
what is an experience for that matter
is death an experience?
but you don't need to think to experience that

supposedly
but its a state of consciousness
so its an "experience"

who is doing the thinking?
is it you?
who is experiencing?
you?
or the entirety of the morphic field you created

"who" is another thought. And because it is thought, "who" can be many things. It is not your body or your mind but it a product of them.

its very peaceful when meditated upon
brings me back to my origin
like lying in a hammock
swinging back and forth on a breezy day
between two trees that are sturdy

Language is our reality, our thoughts, our experiences. Everything is defined by language, semantics or the meaning of words. That is what differentiates each culture.

For what is culture, but a way of living based on a social system and the meanings that are applied to it.

We only know of what's 'OUT THERE' by our five senses. Therefore, can we say that is all that is OUT THERE? Or is there much, much more, but we don't have the senses to detect it. This is our reality.

In our body, we have consciousness. We cannot split our consciousness or transfer our consciousness into another person or body because our body is alive, and we are the consciousness that is attached to that particular body.

When the body dies, so does the consciousness of that body, us. BUT, when a baby is conceived, I believe that it is possible for us to be that new consciousness.

We are not the old consciousness of the body that has died, and we do not have any memory of being that old dead body's consciousness. But we are now free to be a new body's consciousness, and will continue to be until it also dies.

I believe that in this way we live on. We are not the SAME consciousness that lives on, but MANY in succession.

What I cannot conceive of though, is if we become the new consciousness of the same species or not. That is all.

Cheers big ears, jalan winking smiley

but what happens to the consciousness in between births
and also what is consciousness other than perception
and can consciousness be alive without thought without language
and also why do i even care?
that is the big question
somehow i care
but somehow not sure if the caring is really salient
since what will happen will happen
regardless of whether or not i care

then again, perhaps my caring is a form of perception
and perception shapes outcome

its also nice to not care at all
its freeing

La-veronique, what I'm saying, is that there's no consciousness between births. The consciousness only belongs to a body, and when that body ceases to function, then so does the brain, hence consciousness.

We are unique within ourselves while we are alive. We are, I am. Every birth, every life has a consciousness which is who we are.

I'm sorry that this is so onerous to explain, as it's a different concept. And it's a leap in thinking that once our body dies, then we are free to be another consciousness in another body that has been born, but NOT the SAME consciousness that belonged to the previous body.............

Oh well, it's a bit out there, but all my life, even as a child, I used to grapplel with this idea, the idea that every person was seperate. I always felt that we were conected somehow, and wondered why we couldn't BE another person at will. Sort of like mind reading I guess, and the only way I understand it is that while our body is alive, we, or our consciousness is trapped. On death we are freeeeeee

Oh, the big ears crack wasn't meant for anyone, just ryhmed with cheers is all smiling smiley

to be something is a thought. When the sun goes down, it gets dark but it shines somewhere else. How many suns are there? How many conciousness are there? just a thought

Hmmm, well that's a 'good' thought Panchito, and I like the analogy. So, to those of us left behind when someone dies, death looks permanent, and who really knows what, if anything comes after death. Perhaps we do shine elsewhere. Perhaps Plato was right, and we do have an immortal soul or consciousness!

If you noticed, I never say that what I believe or suggest is indeed a fact, unless there is clear evidence, but it's facinating to hypothesise you must agree.

I've another suggested explanation for why people feel that they have lived previous lives. Cause it's pretty hard to dismiss their 'evidence', when they recount exactly the lay of the land etc, things that no-one would know if they hadn't actually been there.

Well, we all know from many studies, that certain personality traits, physical features, physical and mental qualities and susceptibilities to various diseases and addictions are passed on from one generation to the next via our genes.

Ok, then is it also possible that certain 'MEMORIES' can be passed on too???

Of course, not the whole life of a relative, but some life event that had made a deep impression on the person. Not knowing that memories could also be passed on, the person would no doubt think that the memory was theirs; hence, their only explanation would be that they had lived before.

Some time ago, I remember that a person swore that they had a memory of seeing a certain land mark in another country, despite having never been there (a huge stone statue I believe). This statue appeared to have never existed, but the memory was so vivid that the person didn't give in.

However, years later scrolls were discovered that made reference to this statue that had been destroyed by a conquering army. The person was vindicated, yet the only explanation for the memory was that they had lived before.

Unlike the above case, some people who claim to have seen something that existed hundreds of years ago despite never haveing visited the country of origin, are usually discredited since it's suggested that they have seen it in a book or movie etc, and have forgotten the experience.

Well, that was an interesting discussion, and does anyone else have something to add? Remember, there's no right or wrong answer here.........

Cheers, jalan smiling smiley

la v.

i was having the same thought maybe evan at the same time not sure but it doesnt matter where you are but it does matter what you are doing there.

its all about making incremental progress by being happy doing what you know you are supposed to be doing.

it involves truth and love. it's maybe all an imaginary movie.... but so what its there and we are dealing with it ....do it so that you can feel happy about what you are doing.

heh heh.. big smile!!smiling smiley

yeah, i love how u worded it like " so what"..and " Its there and we are dealing with it"

i like the so what part
and i also like the part that we are dealing with it
even if it is an imaginary movie

or we are just actors on stage without realizing it
and even if we never step off the stage

just pick up roles that you like
and play

what else is there to do?
