LOL - thanks for the laugh. Wow, how wonderful she is that she's chosen not to have kids. And so she tells the rest of us we should only have one child. And she had to throw in the demon word "capitalism" - boogey man. You know where she's coming from.

Actually, her colleagues just came out and said the world's population is in decline, so I guess we don't have to worry about over-population any longer -

About That Overpopulation Problem

Research suggests we may actually face a declining world population in the coming years.

"Anderson did blame herself for getting kicked off the ice skating show. Well, at least part of herself.

“I feel so bad for [skating partner] Matt [Everrs]," she said. "He should not be here. I stumbled, my dress... my boobs fell out. It happens. It’s common in my life.” "

John Rose, I'm not sure if you viewed the video before posting your links. I guess I should specify in this video she is encouraging the people in the U.S. who are affluent, well-educated to have only one child or no children. I noticed you have a link about eugenics, so I don't think that applies here.

How could less population be a bad thing? I am tired of fighting for my space around here. I notice the people all in favor of breeding are living in the boondocks.

Less people= more space and more quiet. That is a good thing.

<<<How could less population be a bad thing?>>>

Hey BW,

It’s called “Democide: Murder By Government” - [hawaii.edu]

<<<Less people= more space and more quiet. That is a good thing.>>>

We already have plenty of space we just need to go “Back to the Land” which is Dr. Norman Walker’s last of his 8 books and is what is called “Spaces of Love” in the Ringing Cedar Series.

Spaces of Love

FROM BOOK ONE (from the new version that came out in April 2007)

Anastasia talks about every one of us creating what she calls ‘spaces of love’. These spaces are usually about one hectare (2.8 acres) per family. When several of these spaces of love are joined together they create a ‘Kin’s domain’ or eco-village.

Many beautiful and amazing things happen in ones space of love. While with Vladimir in her space of love Anastasia says that every living thing in her space of love, every blade of grass and insect reacts to a change in the rhythm of her heart. She then shows Vladimir how this is done and slows her heartbeat down. Immediately the rhythm of sounds all around slows down to match her heartbeat. (pp 136-137)

Peace and Love..........John

I think there should be selective population control. Like all those who want population control can have their own personal death panels, suicide and assisted suicide for them is totally encouraged and legal, and all sterilizations for them are totally paid for by the taxpayers....I mean the government smiling smiley

But seriously - anyone who 'believes in' and wants - sterilization, suicide, assisted suicide, genocide, and death panels - should have it done to them. Those who do not 'believe in' and want those things for themselves, should not have it forced on them by law and government - otherwise it's genocide.

In other words - you go first smiling smiley

Don't live in a house in the ground or underground - they're damp, dark, cold, musty, moldy, and full of spiders and insects. Live up high on a hill or in the trees. Make sure you have a lot of big windows facing south for sun, light and heat.

You can take all 7 billion people that are on this earth put them side by side and they could all fit
within the county of Dade Fla. Point is the mass covers not a lot of the earth.
No the earth canot substain our way of life much longer,

its our way of life thats detroying life, I like what the old skin head had to say about this----

“There is enough in this world for everybodys need, but not enough for certain peoples' greed”
by Mahatma Gandhi

“Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's need... but not every man's greed.”

Just ran across this article that explains where we're losing population - it looks like big cities are gaining and rural areas are losing - good because then there's more open country for we raw foodists to buy a little house and our own little bit of land and grow our own food and have fresh air and fresh clean water and be close to nature.

Census shows record 1 in 3 US counties are dying off

John Lennon's Opinion about Over Population
1:20 Minute Video
[www.youtube.com]

Uploaded on Apr 21, 2007
35 years ago, the big media scare was over population - we were all doomed. Then it was the coming ice age that was going to kill everyone. Now we're all going to die of global warming. Kind of typical that Lennon didn't follow the mainstream thought.

...

This has a really funny ending.........JR

I'm in favor of human population control, but i'm not in favor of forcing people to NOT have children. What i would like to see is, instead of indoctrination that "we are heterosexual and/or will have a heterosexual marriage and have children etc" that people question WHETHER they want to have children or not. It seems the only people who are questioned on their choice to have children are the ones who choose not to. Shouldn't it be something everyone ponders instead of going with the societal norm and expectation? I don't want children myself, but I'm considering donating my eggs.
