Sheryl Sandberg Launches 'Ban Bossy' Campaign to Empower Girls to Lead [abcnews.go.com] "Can banning one school-yard word really change the world? Sheryl Sandberg says yes. Sandberg -- the chief operating officer of Facebook and author of the best-selling book "Lean In" -- is spearheading the launch of a campaign today to ban the word "bossy," arguing the negative put-down stops girls from pursuing leadership roles." or being reactionary against a paradigm of deterrence better to focus on how far women have already come and just allow continued excellence to make a statement and lead women have come a loooong way constantly complaining about how the shift in power is still largely male dominated is not going to inspire people to choose women leaders there are more opportunities for women now than ever before so this business about complaining is really juvenile demonstrating outstanding leadership instead of "telling" or demanding how others ought to behave is the best method for change Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
