Ok I've got to tell this story because it gave me a buzz hearing about it.

My brother works as a two man team building natural wood kitchens and loves the work, but ever since he started he's had problems with his boss. His boss is German and a real skilled craftsman but unfortunately possesses a slightly self righteous temperament ( blaming others for all mistakes ) as well as the tendency to STRESSSS when confronted with a problem.

My bro ( Steven ) is very easy going but is very non vocal with his feelings. His approach to this is to tollerate alot until he can't stand it and then just walk. Naturaly this combo has been a wierd relationship. The boss ( Roland ) would accuse him of some mistake that would be made and stress out, Steven would get pissed and leave, sometimes avoiding any contact with him for days. Then later they'd get back together again and carry on.

Recently Roland had a 3 month holliday back in germany, in which time Steven got to work on his own a fair bit and came to a resolution and clarity within himself. He decided that he was going to change the situation, and would speak his mind upon Rolands return and state how he felt and that he would quit if things continued as they had done.

Unsurprisingly ( because I've found life works this way ) at the same time Roland had a good long break away from it all and came to the realisation that he wanted to change as well. He resolved to change his attitude toward the problems and when he got back he and Steven had a real meaningfull chat about it.

Since then Steven has been way more communicative about whats going on and how he feels, and every time Roland has found himself getting wound up about something, he's taken a step back and breathed, then started a fresh. This has worked out so well because Steven is an excellent worker but is very influencable, so now that the environment is to his liking he performs way better for Roland.

It makes me buzz because I reckon that every individual who acts peacefully adds up and makes a difference to the world. smiling smiley

I don't know how many of you are following the 2nd raw summit but there have been a couple of speakers that I've been real impressed with and have been a real lift. Both of them own raw restaurants, the first having a total focus on ecological friendliness using starch compounds insted of plastics and bio fuel for the cars etc etc producing zero waste. Also the food is 100% organic and emphasyses affordability for the sake of bringing health to the community. His restaraunt can be viewed here [www.leafcuisine.com]

The second who were actualy a couple have their whole buisness philosophy centered around gratitude. Its awsome.. they run workshops on it, and educate all their 215 staff on it making it their businesses ethic, focus and presentation to the public. On thanksgiving they provide all their food for free, and allow volunteers to help out giving the example of how some people would come in and eat, then go wash their dishers and help serve smiling smiley
Info on this can be found here [www.withthecurrent.com]

YAHOOO... despite what big media would have you believe there is some good in this world !!!

i got to shoot the breeze with Winnie The Pooh

while he was pondering on how to steal honey from the beehive

he didn't talk much

i did all the talking

Winnie just kind of made motions in the air

it was enough

for me to understand him though

cool

and its HARDDDD!! toosmiling smiley

in the zaniest way

oh yeah, i saw a movie

i think it was entitled " Ping Pong" ( i thiink.. though not sure)

i think it was a japanese movie.. subtitled in english

but it was interesting... the characters were a bit too polarized but
zany wacky fun

and they REALLY knew how to play their PINGGGGG PONGGGGG

the plastic ball was whizzing at lightning rates across the green
tables merging into blizzard light ( special effects were galore)

and then there was this one scene where time and thought itself is suspended

so much so that you can almost see the nerves attached to the other guy's retina through the clarity in his eyes when he is close up and clear about being in this space of no thought

it was reflected in his expression...

it says in the back that the special effects were akin to MATRIX

well... i think it was better

i know the entire world raves about MATRIX

but when i saw that movie, all i could think of was

what DID THEY DO WITH THE PLANTS????? BIRDS????/ AAHAHHHHHHH

drove me insane... all that machine... ugggggghh.. yuckkk...

but i liked ping pong

the only piece of technology that is showcased to the max is that plastic ball

and it is the STAR!

okay... so ... it was a bit silly too

but ... sometimes i like silly

cuz me too serious sometimes.. u know?

Yaaahoooo !!! This is the sign of a new paradigm. For those who are ready to accept it, there is a solution to our energy crisis at hand... The question is, will we embrace it ?

i saw singin going up the beanstalk ( remember the one from Frangiappinni land?)

and then the beanstalk broke but singin kept climbing it cuz he just believed it was still THERE!

and he touched the sun but it didn't burn him
it made him sing
and thereafter he was dubbed "singinraw"
