Date: February 23, 2008 03:53PM ver, my heart hurts for you honey.
remember that there is balance in life and that things happen for reasons beyond our understanding. even horrific things. it's not up to us to make sense of life, that is hard to take, i know. soothe your soul somehow sweet girl and keep putting your positivity out there, contribute that wherever you can to make a difference in your small corner of the world. be informed, sure, but not the point of it immobilizing you with it's intensity. that doesn't serve anything. i'm sorry girl, wash those images off of your eyes with a beautiful view of nature. stay in the love. *love* Re: no.

Date: February 26, 2008 02:31AM WOW Jose,
thank you SO SO much! for this video. ( posted in this previous post by jose) i cried at the end too. well, i just wrote out the points that this man gave. it was a really awesome lecture. Too bad he is dying of pancreatic cancer. But these are the main points i got out of his lecture. I wrote them out here : ( the stuff i put in parenthesis is my own thoughts about it) #1) Experience is what u get when you don’t get what u want. Going after your dreams even if you don’t get it is still very important. It gives you a lot. ( this guy was talking about how he wanted to join the NFL . he never did but he still got many great experieces out of it playing football and going after that dream). #2) If someone is pointing out your mistakes it is because they care. If they don’t it is because they have given up on you. ( He was referring to how his football coach was just hammering at all his errors and someone pointed out that it was cuz he cared, so he ought to consider himself lucky.) #3) Brick walls are there to prove how badly we want things : PASSION!!( this has to be one of the most touching quotes. i can DEFINETELY relate to this. It is SOOOOO TRUE!! #4)Have fun all the time. Have a sense of fun and wonder. That should never go away. #5)Let children paint the walls of their room, even if they are trying to paint an elevator or the quadratic equation on it LOL ( the guy who did this lecture actually painted his walls with stuff including the quadratic equation and an elevator LOL #6)Decide if u wish to be a tigger or an eyore. Tiggers are enthusiastic, optimistic, fun loving and highly energetic. ( i not sure what an eyore is but i like the tigger spirit best) NEVER underestimate the value of having fun. I am dying soon and I CHOOSE to have fun EVERY day. ( oh... yeah.. that last sentence does not refer to me . this guy has pancreatic cancer and it has pretty much spread to SEVERAL of his organs.) #7)If u wait long enough, people will show you their good side. No one is purely evil. ( this one touched me too) #8)SHOW GRATITUDE! #9)Don’t complain. Just work harder. You can spend your time complaining or playing the game hard. Jackie Robinson, first black major leaguer had it in its contract to not complain when people spit on him. #10)If you live your life the right way. The karma will take care of itself. The dream will come to you. Well, i am feeling much better now since i wrote that first deleted post. I have done a lot since and this video was the icing on the cake . THANKS! Re: no.

Date: February 27, 2008 11:29AM i am going to send this man a continual stream of energy
and i encourage others to do the same we can increase his life force if we work together i am more than certain that he will live far longer than his doctors proclaimed his soul is stronger and he wishes to live he has three children whom he loves dearly nothing can go against spirit if it is strong enough but i think he needs some help let's help him by sending him focused healing via prayer ( whatever your religion is) thoughts ( whatever your philosphy is) energy ( whatever your mind or soul has a capacity for) and love let's go for it why not?
