The beauty of science

Isn't it great that science allows us to explore Nature by extending our senses through mechanical contraptions and appreciate Nature at more distance scales, for example, and not just the scale we are used to in the everyday?

These images are a testament to the beauty of Nature, and of science as a means of exploring it.
