I don`t use too much suplement or super food I eat wheat grass powder because I not really good to grow wheat grass, and I use Maca powder.
Maca has Iron, calcium etc.,as I know it is good to build the adrenal glands.
But I wonder if anyone has some more knowledge or experience about it. Is really that good?
Thank You for sharing.

Maca helps in adapting to stress and also makes you really horny, atleast that's my experience. I think it should be taken in very low doses.

I love it. I take it in a smoothie every morning and find it emotionally balancing and energizing. After taking it regularly for a while I noticed that I don't get menstrual cramps any longer.

that's funny

i think once i had too much maca

and it was a weird feeling

i felt like i had been run over by a mac truck

and had to stop everything and sleep in the MIDDLE of the DAY!!!

but hey... maybe it was a strange brand or something or maybe some jokester put something else in it.. who knows?? LOL smiling smiley

all i do know is that it is powerful

as far as me wanting to use it again... i dunno

but hey.. if it works for you, go for it

i know a woman, and have heard of a few others, who have used maca successfully to treat endometriosis. that said, i personally don't think its such a good idea to just throw this stuff willy nilly into your smoothies just to give you a boost... you risk creating further imbalances in your system, even as you may relieve certain other symptoms. my personal experience with maca was this: yes i got an energy and sex drive bump. my hair also started to fall out and my nails all broke off. what fun!

and like any stimulant, i wonder if long term use would result in a continued energy/libido boost, or if it would be something that you are now required to consume just to maintain your current baseline?
