milk thistle?

i am doing a 10-day raw "experiment" for a class. when i've tried to "go raw" in the past, i got pretty sick. some people said it was a toxic liver. i'd like to take milk thistle during these 10 days, then, for liver support...but i've hear milk thistle can interfere with birth control. is that true? Re: milk thistle?

Date: June 18, 2006 12:38AM OK. according to "medicinal herbs and their uses" there are no known drug interactions with milk thistle. Neither perscription or over the counter drugs.
St. John's Wart can't be taken with birth control, though. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
