I like to add squash, is there anything else that would work?

Yes, a lot of things will work. My Green Smoothies
are always the same.....Sea Vegetables, Apricots, Fig, Tomatoes,
Sweet mini-Peppers, Celery, and sometimes a small Carrot.
Let your imagination run wild. One thing I wouldn't use would
be Acid Fruit......WY

What an amazing smoothie combo WY - how did you EVER decide that was "the one" for you!? So, you add all of those things, some water, and blend? How much volume do you drink in ounces of this smoothie? I really have to get more creative, my body would probably really appreciate it.

It just feels right. I'd like to use some of
Arugula's Okra, but I only like one per smoothie, so it
doesn't pay......slimy little Devils.
My smoothies average about 38 ounces, and make up the
whole meal......WY

That is about what I drink too when I make a smoothie - always for a main meal. I have to get back into making other ones though - I just do the same ole combo every time. Maybe I will try yours. Thanks!

I try to mix up the ingredients in my smoothies - I make them daily - in order to get a wide variety of fruits and veggies in there. For me, the variety is what keeps me coming back for more!

Cucumbers, carrots, beets, celery, oranges, lemons, mango, papaya, bananas, red peppers, tomatoes, sweet corn off the cob, zucchini, butternut squash, sweet potato, grapes, berries, watermelon...

Since I use kale, spinach, beet greens, collards, cabbage, turnip greens (these are my favorite, mineral-wise) I tend not to use cauliflower or broccoli in my smoothies. Don't care for the taste too much in the smoothie although tasty alone.

In order to make it so I don't get hungry every 2 hours, I also add a variety of nuts and seeds: sesame, chia, brazil, almonds, sunflower, pumpkin, flax, pecans...again, anything I have and all in small quantities (one tablespoon each) works for me.

Rarely, but sometimes, I add a few medjool dates to make the smoothie "special" (translate: sweet). That works too!
