Gone Raw- Go Figure
Posted by: Mama Cass ()

my husband, after five years of my rawness oozing around him-
has gone raw for 40 days
and is loving it!!!

he's loving the smoothies,
the regularness,
and i get to make all the foods i've made for myself and share
and all the recipes i've wanted to try that he would poo-poo normally
and he loves it.

i know he's not staying raw vegan- but it is so much fun right now.
he's 26 days in, and will definately do it again,
but i know he'll be more supportive the rest of the time now that he knows what it feels like.

peace-

That's exciting. He must see how well raw is working for you and decided he wanted that for himself!

being pregnant was the hardest part- he freaked out about my not eating meat with the first kid-
but by the second was easing up- he found out his mom did high soy with him (she kept boasting the high protein made him smart- but never said what until i asked) and he's antisoy.

after seeing what my family is doing (diabetes in a cousin my age, obesity, thyroid issues, multiple spine surgeries, depression, ocd, adhd, alcoholism, excema, untreated celiacs, meniers, mild retardation- this is in two generations!!!)- he's very happy i'm who i am- crazy raw recipes and all.

he likes that i look younger every year- but it is also about peace. i love having that.

the best part is that he thanks me for knowing all that i know about nutrition and the body. i've been learning a lot here for a long time... thanks to you, brian, and the board.

peace-

That is fantastic news. I am happy for you. Even if he is not always 100% he will never eat the same way again.

My husband's diet is getting better and better. He is 47 and is getting healthier as he gets older, which is really cool. Two years ago he was overweight, tired and bloated, always stressed. Now he is slim, fit and energetic. He is so much more relaxed. After seeing so many positive results you can only move forward.

That's great!!! When I went raw, my hubby didn't go raw, but he started making a lot more raw dishes like slaws (he LOVES to cook), and he's very supportive of me. He likes to try what I uncook. It sure helps having supportive people in the house.

vibrational energy-

we're say things like that all the time-

i catch bad vibes like mad...... and i give them too sometimes.

no matter what happens in the long run, he'll understand his body a lot more.

candida is gone.
weight control is easy
food is good, filling and really satisfies

his mom is FURIOUS
b/c we're going there and he's not eating pies and cakes and all that CRUD.

but he's happy and rocking in the raw vegan world.

we had one bad experience the other day.... on a new thread.

peace-
