Sprouting..?

Well I happen to have made that banana milk this morning, and it was wonderrrfuull. But I ate it with cereal (I ran out of soymilk) and I have no idea how to handle quinoa or buckwheat. I could look it up on google, but it's easier to ask.

I have some quinoa and some buckwheat; should I dehydrate them after sprouting them or sprout them only?

Depends on your taste. You can sprout by soaking for 4-8 hours....and then rinsing 3 times a day.....until the grains sprout. I find a couple of bowls and a plastic strainer (fine mesh) work well. After that, you can try them at various stages of growth....to determine YOUR preference. Then, you can try dehydrated as well....if you are so inclined. Let us know!

So I soak them only once for 4-8 hours and THEN leave them in the sun (while rinsing them 3 times a day) and a day after and so on until i see them sprout correct?

I am a little confused as to if i soak them everyday or just once, yeah.

Thankyou for your help

No..no. No sun. Soak small stuff 4 hours (small seeds and grains like Quinoa) and larger stuff 8 hours or overnight (like large beans). Then just rinse thoroughly 3 times per day and keep in a cloth-covered dish in a cool (70-75F) place. Keep rinsing and draining. For most stuff (especially Quinoa), you should see activity within 24 hours...and good sprouting within 2-3 days.

-You only soak once, but you keep rinsing 3 times per day and keep in the container until they sprout the degree you wish. Hope this is helpful.
