Your experienced is shared with many raw foodists who have been eating high or all raw for some time. When people first start raw, many are used to high fat cooked diets, so eating high fat raw feels better to them. Also, many people are used to eating 1 or less pieces of fruit a day, so the idea of eating fruit as a major source of calories seems odd or crazy to them. Over time, as people remain long term on the raw diet, they find that fat slows them down, and poor food combining decreases their energy. Re: whats wrong with eating fat...?

there are people who eat fat in the world that aren't sluggish and diseased Re: whats wrong with eating fat...?

"...Hard to digest...cannot digest this...hard to digest...hard to digest..." Some need to be careful in terms of quantity, food combining, allergies.... I've got to watch these things, and get my greens. Peace Re: whats wrong with eating fat...?

What do you know about the bodies ability to convert beta-carotene to vitamin A? Re: whats wrong with eating fat...?

I'd say it's the least of concerns for a vegetarian/vegan. In fact I would prefer getting my Vitamin A from beta-carotene if I had the choice, as pre-formed Vitamin A can cause a variety of problems in larger doses, and even be toxic, where beta-carotene is not.
