Check this out guys, I think it's going to be a great resource for all raw vegans new and seasoned.

I've just finished recording my segment and that went very well, I think a lot of questions regarding exercise and raw foodism will be answered.

I'd rather think of you as a "distant friend"...well to be honest with you I really didn't know what to think of this Summit thing because it kinda sounds like an infomercial and I thought it was someone playing a big joke on me, but having actually done my interview and spoken with the organisers, I'm pretty excited about the the amount of information that will be made available to the raw community, you got people of all opinions and styles, so there's something from everybody!!!!

As for my part in it, well I'm just being me and doing my part to spread the beauty, simplicity and positivity of the Fruitarian lifestyle.

But indeed, the joke is on us, because you use random forum surfers for profit without paying for advertising.

It is against the rules of the forum, that is the problem. It isn't really free if you make money off of it, either. And actually, yes, the internet was designed and has flourished as a place for the free sharing of ideas of the populace, not as a place for advertises and triangle schemes to get rich while supposedly delivering content. Why doesn't he just say "it is technically free so long as you visit my affiliate id link first." That would be up-front and honest; that would, perhaps, give whatever he says in the "conference" a bit more credibility.

Dream Earth, if you feel it's so wrong then simply don't listen to it....

OK, I signed up and you can listen free in a very limited way, but it is mostly a commercial come on to get you to buy the expensive big package. But the free part should be very worthwhile by itself.

Anybody that knows me knows that I'm all about the hook up and saving myself/others money!!!

Everything I do is offered for free...from my bootcamp to my own forum, I answer questions from people all over the world free of charge, I know raw gurus that charge thousands of dollars to go to there bootcamps and won't answer any questions without charging consultation fees, I've done this for free for years....so yeah, so what if you have to sit through a infomercial, at the end of it your getting free info that may help you....for free!....don't knock the hook up!!!!

You actually sound like your mad about a deeper issue, maybe you should go workout or something, let off some of that steam!!!!

besides you dont have to buy anything .. anyone can sit and listen to the presentations with a tape recorder going if they really wanted to hear it after that

Exactly....like I said before, I think it's a great opportunity for everybody interested in the raw lifestyle to listen to the personality that best represents their way of thinking/lifestyle, after all how many times do we get the most popular gurus all in one place at the same time????

i have been lurking on this forum on and off for years now, and i just wanted to say that i admire your efforts to help people, and i don't question your motives whatsoever.

i originally found out about the conference through shazzie's site, but i was happy to see that you will be included. i think you have a lot to offer the raw community, or even people who are just curious, and you should definitely be included with the 'heavy hitters'.

you mentioned that you were selected to participate because what you are doing 'works', and anyone who looks at you or hears your story can see that you are a walking billboard for raw food success.

i agree with you that it will be nice to see so many different approaches and viewpoints assembled in one place, so that there will be something for everyone. it will be a veritable raw food smorgasboard!

Hey thanks a lot.....I'm no guru and I don't pretend to be, I'm just doing my thing, I've been banned from forums and most of the guru's get nervous when I'm around because I show that you don't need to buy/waste your money on their books/gourmet recipes, dehydraters, etc to be successful.

Having said that, everybody has different opinions and styles and I think it's going to be pretty cool when it starts, I wish Doug Graham, David Klien, Fred Bisci and Paul Nison were involve too but hey...you can't have everything!

I think it will still be a valuble resource for raw vegans...although I think that there will always be an segment of the raw community that is bitter, twisted and feels obliged to critisize every positive thing that goes on within it.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the 7th....

I'll be listening to as many of them as I possibly can! :-D I signed up last week (can't remember who's link I used to sign up at that time) and I was happy to see you listed as one of the speakers, F1! I'm not overly active here on this forum, but I appreciate your posts and comments when I come across them.

The whole program is surely there to make money in the long run, but at least they are offering it for free in the beginning! It's clever marketing on their part, and I'm sure they'll make some good money on it (and why shouldn't they, when they orchestrated the whole thing?). I'm looking forward to all of the talks.

Yeah...the thing to focus on here is "free", it's free period....as long as you make the times your gonna get hooked up!!!!
