i discovered wheatgrass juice for the second time...

Date: October 12, 2008 06:42PM i drank it years ago and couldnt stomach it,
but i had some today and now i think i like it. i had this realization about greens, i crave them so much, and i like to eat raw spinich and romaine, and i find it hard to digest. so i thought if i was craving greens so badly, why dont i try wheatgrass juice again, it must have the power of greens in a concentrated easy to digest form. i am trying to find the nutrional breakdown of a shot of wheatgrass. i had a shot of wheatgrass juice this morning at whole foods. my idea is, that maybe a shot of wheatgrass might be better than all the romaine that i eat and then find hard to digest. first thing in the morning, followed by a Green Smoothie. It's always nice to read about other people drinking Wheatgrass Juice. It makes it seems so easy, I noticed that you don't cover the wheatgrass with wet paper towels while they are in the covered stage, that was always what I was taught to do, does just covering them work better than wet paper towels? I really want to start growing my own wheatgrass. I'm going to start saving for a wheatgrass juicer so I can grow my own. I hate paying so much for a 10 day supply of frozen wheatgrass. This is the best I could find. Don't go so much by what's in it, but by how it makes you feel. I've been taking up to 3 1/2 ounces of fresh Wheatgrass Juice first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I don't allow myself any other food until I've had that first green juice. I have a 5-ounce Measuring Glass, and 'cut' the Wheatgrass Juice about half-and-half with Water. It seems to go through my Kidneys better that way.
