so getting "real" raw nuts is tough and expensive, what about seeds? are the raw seeds you find at bulk barns and in the regular grocery "really raw" ? thanks dave Re: raw seeds

Date: February 07, 2008 10:54PM In the UK, seeds from wholefood shops tend to be raw (apart from pumpkin seeds which are not). It's easy to test with most seeds by sprouting them - if they sprout they are good to eat.

Date: February 08, 2008 01:51AM Seeds are easy. If you find a source...and sprout them....over 3 days. If they form a little plant...it's all good. If not - no go...you know? Fresh hulled sunflower seeds are always a good bet.
